That issue was covered in some depth over on the main Chase discussion thread.
Be good if this thread sticks to the new (June'26) cashback deal.

The credit card still comes with that interest-free purchases deal - hadn't factored in any additional income from stoozing the card - sums are too hard!

Yes - I thought that was a couple of years ago, though. So probably no update! I stopped using Chase for transport because of this issue, so is related to this cashback deal.

I wonder about this. I closed my savings account a bit ago when it went uncompetitive. My other half does most small day to day card transactions so no way I’ll meet the transaction limit.
Not sure if this was mean to encourage take up but will have the opposite effect on me

Yeah, I've got the Email now.
It's Qualify for 2%, or qualify for nothing. Old 1% offer will be gone.

Does anyone know if cashback on train tickets would be earned if they are bought from Uber?

You could always try it once and let us know!

I reckon to break even to keep £1k in savings (although this amount will slowly diminish over the course of a year due to being able to subtract the amount held in the round-up pot increasing) I'd have to earn about £1.83 cashback each month, which should be doable - spending £115 per month (I wonder if Greggs uses a suitable merchant code?!).
This is based on the savings being otherwise held in an account paying 4% tax free or 5% taxable.
