Chase increases cashback to 2%

As an existing customer of a few years, I note from the MSE article that I should be earning 2% for the month of June. I know it's only 2nd today, but yesterday and today's transactions doesn't show anything pending in the rewards section, which is not normal. Thoughts?
EDIT: I asked Chase direclty. I will earn 1% this month and only on the "old" catagories. The new catagories and 2% start from 1st July for me. I think I misread the MSE article!
Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right!

In June you need to have £1000 in savings for a full month to qualify for July 2%.
Or at least by 4th of June - see prev comments.

Also the app shows how many transactions you've made which is great.
My only issue is that I've been to McDonald on 31st May, and that transaction has been posted as today - so in June. So be aware if making credit transactions at the end of the month as they won't count for the current month.

If you've been with Chase for more than 12 months then you are still on 1% in June, with the 2% offer starting from July (assuming you meet the criteria)
If you're in your first 12 months with Chase you get the 2% in June without having to meet the criteria, but need to meet it from July onwards.
For those in their first 12 months they're likely to be on a boosted savings rate too so it makes sense to use it. My boosted savings finishes mid August so I'll make use of the cashback until then at least.

I notice that sending £1k to my savings account yesterday counted as one transaction in the tracker...
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?2 -
The 15 transactiontransactions is certainly going to to awkward, but I just remembered I use amazon subscribe and save - I have 7 items delivered every 7 weeks, and every items is seen as its own transaction. So that will help every other month.

I by chance got the Chase credit card a few weeks ago before these changes was announced - mostly for over seas spending as got a few trips coming up. Got the 15 months 0% interest interest free, and a much larger limit than expected. So I am going to STOOZE with the CC, and get the 15 transactions for the 2% (with lots of little payments), and put the difference from the miminum and full CC payments in my Zopa 4.55% account for 14 months - and make a lot more than 2% out of Chase.

I think you get around quite easily by buying multiple low value gift card.
For example, if you can buy £1 supermarket eGift card at topcashback. Save the gift card at google pay or Apple pay. Then use self check out…
But I don't feel the 2% cashback worth me all the hasstle.

Or find a gift card you can topup online, so when you come to cash in, you're only having to play with one gift card.
Example - Iceland Bonus Card.

Wonder if Chase is already regretting their cashback changes..
