Which editor toolbar would you prefer?

I've just found a glitch in trying to find the toggle box(?) option, if I click on the Quote dropdown it disappears altogether.

[I don't have the spoons to write ALT text just now, three screenshots showing the disappearing option on the editor toolbar.]

@MSE_Stephen I'm using a Moto G53 running Android 14, Firefox 151.0.2.

I don't see the problem on my laptop, only my phone. Laptop is also running Firefox.

Despite initially being able to reproduce this behaviour, our platform provider is now having some difficulty.

Could you let us know if this is still an issue, and if so share a recent example thread link and, if possible, updated screenshots or device/browser details?

I just had this happen earlier this evening. iPhone on iOS 26.5 and Safari browser.

The quote above starts with an arrow and a space, so (as you can tell) I've still got the problem of the "quote" button vanishing if I try to use it on mobile.

Also "arrow then space" isn't reliable for prodicing a quote, but works for me maybe one time in three.

It's every single thread, it's the way the box behaves. (If you need a thread link to work with, the URL to this one will do!)

(Relevant screenshots would be exactly the same as ones already shared.)

I also checked on my tablet, which I don't use for this site because I can't find a single keyboard that works okay with it - per a different thread - but the larger screen means all of the editor tools are shown individually so this isn't a problem because you can quote and spoiler etc. without having to open a dropdown.

[Incidentally the quote shortcut does work for me reliably.]
