RBS rewards not paid in full

Yes I used my credit card, as additional card holder, after I was offered the 10% on my app. Spouse is main account holder but did not use their credit card as offer on their app was only 7%. Reward received on spouses app ,as the main account holder, was 7% . RBS must know I am additional card holder so why offer 10% to me and not honour it. Why offer me, as additional card holder, anything at all if only spouses card spend counts?

On your app?
But the credit card account isnt yours. Its your wifes. It shouldnt even appear in your app and if it does this would be very peculiar for any bank to do so. Are you sure the 10% wasnt for DEBIT card spend on your own debit card?

No you didn't use your credit card - you used your partners card as an additional card holder. Not sure how many times it needs said. You spent £0, your spouse did, so that's why you got their 7%.

Once upon a time RBS- DC periodically offered 10% cashback @Morrisons instore, has been 7% for long long time, exception being -
"Enjoy 10% in Rewards every time you spend online at Morrisons, Co-Op or Iceland on Amazon"

On the RBS app, if you go into Statement under Rewards you can see if the "reward" is from a Credit Card (your partner's account) or Debit Card (yours bank account). If you click on each transaction you can see the last four digits of the card used. That may help? But as above, perhaps you misread the Amazon/Morrisons offer?

Died your credit card have the same number as your husbands ‘s?
Only the card number will be processed and if that number is registered to your husband then the rewards will apply to him.

It's not your credit card if you're an additional card holder. The account will be in the name of the primary card holder, and it will be their offers which apply.
You'll need to use an account in your name to use your offers, such as your debit card, or apply for a credit card account in your name.
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1
