My phone has just made the 'sold' ringtone, so I look to see what's happened.
An item has been sold but there's also a note from eBay
Paid - wait to post
Buyer has 2h 50m left to shop
What does this mean.. how long do I have to wait

It means exactly what is says- most buyers are now given the chance to add more to their parcel - the amount of time left will show in your sold column -I'm just wrapping one now which has just over a minute to go - I'm working on the basis that as long as I don't seal the box before time up, I'll be OK.
Paid – wait to shipBuyer has 1m 1s left to shop
I think it's a set 3 hours they have. If I can find the existing thread I'll add this post to it.

Also to add I get a lot of these now and so far not one person has ever added anything to their existing purchase.

I had several but just done the label and posted it chances of someone is looking at your items to buy is slim to none. I wasn't waiting around for 2hrs and you don't have to.

Even though I haven’t had anyone add something I wouldn’t risk sending a parcel still in ‘shopping time’. It would be a real issue if buyer added an extra item to their purchase and the original item had already been sent.

I've not seen this, admittedly I don't have many simple delivery items and the ones I have are pretty unrelated so it would be quite a coincidence to sell two to the same buyer! That said I don't understand why if it says 'wait to ship' it will still let you generate the label and treat the item as despatched. It would make more sense if the label was only made available once the buyer was out of time. Otherwise you could generate a label for a large letter and the buyer also purchase a 10kg item.

I wonder if part of it is buyers just don't know it's a thing. I don't know if it's a pilot and only applies to certain sellers but as a buyer I've not seen anything at all about it or any indication anywhere when I buy. It's only because of this thread that I know it even exists at all.

Does this apply to listings by business sellers? And, if so, does that mean we (business sellers) will be charged multiple transaction fees even though we are expected to bundle items together in one package?
