suicidal feelings again

Hi Im-empty,
Been off-line for a few days & sorry to read of your troubles. It seems there is a lovely mixture of support on here. You say that you've made an appointment with cccs - it seems that you've chosen what you most need at the moment, which is some practical advice & finding out where you are. I hope it helps you move forward. And well done on cancelling some DDs ... taking a bit more control.
How are your suicidal feelings at the moment? Is there anything in particular that makes them feel worse ... or better? I notice that a few people have suggested ringing Samaritans, which can be helpful if you want to talk/email things through without being judged or given advice. I also know that if you want to keep your call private, you can call reverse charges or generally ask them to call you back on a regular line or a call phone. Lots of people have suicidal feelings for all kinds of reasons (many of whom don't act on them) and I don't believe they should be swept under the carpet, nor are they going to go away overnight with or without a doctor's prescription.
By all means, have a think about what options might be most helpful to you: you could go to your GP to find out what support is available. And you're getting practical advice on your finances, which seems to be your main point of worry at the moment. Have you had a chance to talk things over with your wife or family?
Hope things improve for you.

Hi
Please dont give up. I too have been at a point where I know the only way out is to commit suicide. Three years down the line, in £17,000.00 worth of debt, living in a rented house, two teenage sons, a husband who wont sign divorce papers (abusive, aggressive, workshy, drinker) etc etc etc - I still am glad I didnt do it. I still get up in the night and look at my babies (17 and 15 years) and know that I did the right thing. They need me as much as I need them and I love them. Love is what has kept you going this long and love will keep you going on. Never lose faith in yourself and the love you have and give. If you have faith in God think on this "if God brings you to it, He will bring you through it". Not a god squad type but my brother is a priest and I liked this.0
