    Hi
Sorry to hear your problems. You will get some fantastic advice from this forum i am sure.

You could also try the following debt counciling charity. They offer more one to one support and do not charge.

They have helped a few people i know who were in serious debt and feeling that taking their own lives seemed to be the only option. They are now changed peopled who have real control over their lives and finances.

And bankruptcy would not suite me as we have bought our house but how can i sort out these creditors as i feel we may lose the house because we have nothing coming in and can't pay the repayments anymore.

Just looking at the house situation.

Can you post your house value, outstanding mortgage amount, interest rate, how many repayments you have missed, type of lender.

Is your mortgage repayment or interest only? Do you have mortgage protection insurance? Has your lender written to you about arrears? Are you on a fixed rate deal? Are you allowed payment hoildays? How long have you had the mortgage?

Post some figures and we can see if there is a way forward.

You know what? You are actually a very rich man to have that.

Money, great big houses, material posessions, they're all just bullsh!t things that don't actually matter. What matters is what money can't buy!

Ask yourself if you're prepared to put your family through the worst times of their lives by taking your own? The problems won't be gone, they will be worse. And your family will be left to deal with it all on their own without your help.

Money problems are fixable. I promise you that. Fixing someone who has taken their own life isn't.

Seek professional advice for how you are feeling. That is the most important thing and it's something only you can do to fix.

But when you are ready, have a read of this thread and we'll help you as much as we can with your money problems. :)

Hi - I had to respond to your thread when I saw the title.

I dont think there is any financial situation worth committing suicide over. At the end of the day it is just money - family and health are all that really matters in life. I cant even begin to describe the devastation caused when a family member commits suicide - especially when you then find out it was because of debts. It is something that will haunt those you love for the rest of their lives and nothing can be so bad it is worth causing them that pain.

Please call someone like CCCs who have been fantastic with me and put me on an informal debt management plan and got all interest frozen so I can actually pay off what I borrowed

It matters not if you try and fail,
And fail, and try again; But it matters much if you try and fail, And fail to try again.
