Lots of great things available with a library membership and an internet connection.
No use to the OP's mother though
Things that are different: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0 -
Libraries also stock physical magazines, but I do not know if the OP's mum is able to visit or is interested in visiting a library to read her magazine.

Wasn't clear if she was internet savvy or not. Just threw it out as a potential money saving option.

Mum is elderly and unconnected (online). So anything involving screens are out (sounds bliss to me!).

Unfortunately Mum can't access the internet for various reasons. She relies on the paper version of the magazine to plan her viewing for the week ahead and has a little ritual every evening to turn over the page and mark up her evening's entertainment.
A lot of it is habit and just what she's used to, and it's a shame that comes at such a cost.
I have now seen that subscriptions are available for £61 at https://www.magazine.co.uk, which looks like a viable option.2 -
Any spare Clubcard points?

There are TV magazines for less than £1, which don't have any radio listings, but you can plan viewing. Which is why, as a radio 4 listener, I took out a RT subscription as even though I could read online free library copy you cannot mark the programmes you plan to watch. Or do the crossword. If your Mum really enjoys the magazine then it is probably worth buying at a newsagent to ensure she has a copy in time for the weekend viewing. When I complained about late arrivals all they did was send a link to a digital copy. Doh! The late delivery is a result of the failing mail service these days.

Yes - that's the full digital and paper subscription. It looks like the best option from what I've found so far.

Funnily enough, I bought the original subscription that way. After my Dad died, my Mum just accepted whatever was offered to her at renewal, not knowing any different.
