Shouldn't this be in the ISA section of the forum?

Where is the list of approved providers? I'm looking at the Full Terms & conditions PDF (linked to from here) and see no mention of approved providers.

The Full Terms & conditions PDF (linked to from here) has a bullet point (among others) under the heading What funds and/or transfers qualify for this Offer? which states Your application and supporting evidence for ISA transfers must be received by us within the Offer period. I'm hoping that this means that even if there is a significant delay in the money arriving in the destination HSBC ISA, if you've evidenced that you initiated the transfer then you will still qualify for the relevant bonus. Wishful thinking perhaps.

I have a Cash ISA with another provider that matures on 5 May that I'll be looking to move across to a new provider, possibly HSBC. I'm wondering whether — given the offer ends on 11 May — I would still get the bonus assuming I initiated the transfer on say the 6 or 7th May. I am not quite sure how I could evidence that I had initiated the transfer within the deadline, but I guess I could always go to my local branch and ask.

For reference, I posted 2 ISA transfer applications on the 16th April.

One, for a parent for whom HSBC have confirmed they have received the form and are now processing it.

The other for me to First Direct (part of HSBC) which included an ISA application as well as the transfer request. The sort code and account number for the new account are now showing in my FD app.

Good luck - they may have the form but that is only the start.

They had my ISA transfer request (submitted online for an electronic transfer) before Easter. The ISA transfer still hasn't happened as of this evening - nearly three weeks on. And it isn't for want of my existing provider's efforts to make it happen!

Perhaps that is the reason HSBC allow 70 days for transfer requests to complete - many other providers of course manage to complete them in less than 70 hours!!

You could submit the ISA transfer form now. There is a tick-box you can select to wait until your other ISA matures.

The losing provider has confirmed receipt of the transfer request from First Direct.

Will be interesting to see if First Direct has the same issues/delays with transfers as HSBC - or if they have their own separate systems.

My existing provider confirmed receipt of the transfer request from HSBC on 9 April - transfer still hasn't completed.

Requested two transfers into Santander re their cashback offer on Thursday - they completed yesterday (within 2-3 working days) and Santander have the funds in my accounts today.

Been into my local HSBC branch and gone through the transfer process.

Existing ISA matures on 30th April so hopefully I will hear from the old provider or HSBC in the form of an e-mail as nothing was 'confirmed' to me at the time.

    Fingers crossed.

People are having a problem because they are having to wait for HSBC to transfer existing ISA funds from another provider - that's not something you, as the ISA holder, have any control over regarding speed. 'tis in the lap of the (HSBC) Gods.

What you have described is transferring your own, new money to your newly opened HSBC ISA account. - not the same thing people are struggling with.

I' ve had the new HSBC ISA open since 31/3/2026.

As yet, the balance in the account is precisely - !!!!!! all! £0.00.
