I must be cynical, just had the same message on my app.

    Can't print my reaction!

I reckon everyone with a live ISA transfer got the message. I had it as well.

Got same message in app as mentioned above.

Also "template" email received this morning re formal complaint.

We’re sorry we haven’t resolved your complaint yet.

We know it's not what you want to hear, but we haven't been able to resolve your complaint in the last 2 weeks.

Your complaint is important to us, and we’re focusing on investigating the issues raised and coming back to you. We’re aiming to respond to you within the next 6 weeks and we’ll keep you updated along the way.

Thanks for your patience and once again we’re sorry for the delay.

    Yours sincerely,

    Your Customer Service Team

(My transfers in are still sitting with ceding banks, one of which still hasn't heard a dickie bird from HSBC. The other authorised the transfer on 22nd April.)

Still waiting on FRISA transfer 1 month down the line.

Been on to them regularly, dont worry, it's in progress etc blah de blah

Now my cash ISA has dissapeared from it's original Santander location and hasn't reappeared in new HSBC. My money has quite literally disappeared from view.

Don't worry they said, again and again!!

Regretting my HSBC choice tbh, also lost 15 days interest.

if you raise a complaint, they might pay you £50 or £100 compensation, and they will confirm that all is in hand but “takes a little longer” due to the volume of transfer requests. They’ll also give you warm but non-committal words regarding interest rate and the cashback, but they won’t speed up the process of moving your money from their corporate collection account to your ISA.

Ask them for a final response letter before the 8 week complaint wait time is up, and take your complaint to the FOS if you have the time and energy.

You could also write to the HMRC ISA team who are the ones who manage the ISA Manager licensing, as HSBC are clearly in breach of their obligations, and in addition to the current shambles, we got justified concerns that they will be unable to cope with the numerous transfer-out requests they will no doubt receive in May/June next year. savings.compliance@hmrc.co.uk

If you page up, you can also find details of a Press agony aunt which some people have contacted. With no reported success to date.

I think the HSBC party line is that we have a fixed term contract, and therefore no urgency for seeing our money in our accounts. This is of course wholly unacceptable, and there is no provision in the ISA legislation for delays for fixed term ISAs.

Unfortunately its a case of waiting and seeing.

Patience isn't my strongest virtue by any means but no other choice really.

My money hasn't moved an inch (as of 2 minutes ago, called existing provider) but its not as if all the complaints on here are the same, there are various errors or inactions.

I'll wait the 8 weeks but also take your advice regarding FOS. I've also sent the press person 2 e-mails but have had no reply yet.

Thanks for your messages by the way, any advice or help is greatly appreciated.

I am sorry to have to tell you that means absolutely nothing. My funds disappeared from my previous provider over a month ago.
