Breakfast scoffed.
Tea towels etc on line.
Rabbits swapped over. Scratches washed and dried. Not unrelated.
WUALTD.
Driving licence applied for as, apparently, you need one to buy a car! Who knew! (I have got one - but…shredder - it was paper. Well half of one. With a fringe.)
Cancelled appointment to go and see the car of my heart because I was making a decision with my heart, and looking for what I have lost and it was a special edition and feature-rich and I did love it. I am going to look at 'head' cars' (with damaged driving licence and online check code) and we shall see…

Bedroom done (including moving the furniture) - and so am I.
Sheets were changed at weekend so that helped.
Doing one room/area a day is so much easier than trying to do half the house - and then almost giving up until it gets bad again.
Now I need to have a rest then get myself looking vaguely presentable before i go out.

Bed stripped and three loads through the washing machine, two of which are on the line drying, and the other load will be pegged out tonight when those two loads come in. Bed remade with the help of Belovéd after I picked him up from the station. Statins picked up on the way.
Whole house vacuumed, litter trays given some attention, Wren walked and now I know why she still makes occasional mistakes in the house. She was reluctant to walk past a scary noise and I had limited options so I made her go the way I wanted to. Result: puddle. Makes sense. Puddle cleared up. I've been wondering what triggers these episodes and now I know.
Bathroom given a proper going over and it looks a lot better.
Forgot to do my exercises this morning; remembered after lunch so that's one down and I'll do two more sets later. My leg muscles have been giving me gyp for over 30 years and these exercises really have made a difference so I don't want to play fast and loose with them.

This morning, DH and I went on another hunt for a new sofa. We bought our old one not long after we married (30 years + I think 🤔) and now its days are numbered. Decision has been made on the style, model and shop - ends up we are shopping local independent and locally made, so win-win for this local economy. We need to choose the colour, then we are done with decision making and trawling the shops.
DH is just back from strimming my allotment 🙃. While he was out, I cleaned the en suite as per yesterday’s list, totally forgetting that he would then have a shower. Ah well, it was clean for an hour. And my fear of Valli’s whip cracking was greater than my logic. Mr M small shop for tomorrow finalised. Apart from constantly looking out for my plant babies, that has been my day. It seemed quite busy at the time…

well I have found a new car, and put down a (refundable) deposit and now I'm having second thoughts…
Also I had misunderstood what the insurers said - it's not a confirmed write-off and apparently I shouldn't have put a deposit down… this may well be the cause of the second thoughts.
Took hours, too
Washing dried to a crisp. binbag dance and bin out

Mini vac came out and I hoovered around the baseboards in the kitchen and did the kitchen door mat.
DW on and emptied.
DH cooked dinner and I cleared away after.
Pulled out the falling over 'pile' of t-shirts and shorts from the wardrobe and refolded them all neatly.
Folded the washing - its now on my bedroom chair waiting to be put away.
Made a batch of yoghurt.
Paid stuff all day - managed a mid-afternoon walk.
Didn't manage to cross anything off the ToDo list, but added one thing.
Ordered some attachments for DH for the pressure washer - its his new toy and everything outside is looking a lot cleaner.
Fed the birds and brushed the cat - both were very happy.

we had a very brief power cut last night, and this morning my PC is refusing to work, so perhaps that’s the cause - although I wasn’t actually using it at the time, it was on. So I am trying to summon up enough strength to take it to my computer man. Everything else on the same surge-protected multi plug is fine. Grrr!
ETA NNDN says she had a power cut too. Curiouser and curiouser.
No horse piddle for DH today, so he went back to bed after breakfast. I had a bad night but am a bit more mobile today. I have dusted and hoovered the kitchen, DR, LR and hallway, and carried the hoover upstairs ready for tomorrow. I mustn’t forget to pick up the missing item off my prescription from the pharmacy, and Rosie needs a short walk.
In my breaks I have been channelling my inner shepherd and watching lambing/kidding videos on FB. I envy MMM being hands on.

So…
The box which contained everything from a drawer in my DR pre decorating/furniture swapping as been opened and most of the contents now transferred to a box in the bureau in the lounge apart from a woolly hat which has joined its companions in the drawer of scarves, gloves and hats and an ANCIENT hot water bottle which has been flung. The brand was Berkertex, and it was sold by Littlewoods so I think we can safely say it was OOD - didn't even have the hot water bottle 'daisy wheel' label!
The plastic box has now been redesignated as the-box-for-items-listed-on-ebay. The tower of empty plastic boxes DD brought from her bf's in anticipation of moving in with him is on top, as is her vinted stuff. But it's now tidier… All Wii games, accessories etc have been gathered ready for DiL to take to her work fling
Bank account reconciled. CC payment made.
