Have chased car insurance re hire car and claim.
Hire extended. Car written off.
Have emptied DW and WM; was about to peg washing out when NDN informed me he is jet washing his patio so I'll have to wait.

Apart from my P60s, which haven't yet been issued, I've done all the work for my tax return. Not a job I normally do on 6/7 April but this year it's all fallen into place. Happy with that.
All the admin I can do at this stage for Scotland, London and Italy is now up to date. Happy with that, too.
New Senior Rail Card applied for. Mine expired late last year and I knew I wasn't going to be travelling by rail for a few months so I let it lapse. Apparently that's okay, because the new one is due to start on 13 April because I want an actual card, not a digital one. I'll need it at the beginning of May so I'm glad I didn't leave it until the last minute to apply for it.
Two loads of laundry that were line dried folded and put away, Wren walked, exercises x 2 done.

wow @Craftyscholar - that's impressive.
I'm glad it's the bathroom today as it's the room I wanted to focus on.
Towels washed and dried and put away. Fresh towels in and hung in a very neat way on the towel rail (until DH washes his hands and ruins my display 🤣)
Shower screen cleaned and 1 wall of tiles scrubbed. Window cleaned. Bath, sink, loo cleaned.
I bought a new bathroom bin as the old one looked a bit iffy even after cleaning. Have had to stop myself from standing and staring happily at a new rubbish bin 🤷♀️

Evening all. Two beds stripped and remade, three washloads done (including clothes) and one left to do tomorrow when it's still supposed to be nice. Meters read and entered onto site. We went out in the car this morning because we hadn't used it for two weeks and don't want to let the battery run down but we also don't want to use too much petrol. Had a nice walk with DD1's dog along the river and coffee outside the cafe. Might do it again tomorrow before the temperature drops on Thursday. Watered the garden pots again because they felt light when I got them out so I don't want them to dry out too much while it's sunny. Took the dog out again for an hour this afternoon. Strictly speaking it's about 15 minutes walk but he loves to sniff every blade of grass so it takes forever.
Hope everyone's OK x

Woke up late this morning and thought it was Monday, so missed my usual exercise (my excuse anyway). Did the paid stuff all day, but managed to get out and post a return parcel - so should be a refund of £40 soonish.
Him indoors cooked dinner, and I washed up and loaded the DW - there's still room inside so will be switched on during Wednesday.
I've got a ToDo list and will try to do at least one task every day, let's see if I can get rid of that list. I've got a loose seam on a pillow to sew up tomorrow, as well as an email/complaint to raise.
SOAADFA for the evening and tended to the needy cat.
