Just posting out of my own curiosity....

What do people do for a living on here? You don't have to be specific its just i currently work full time but am thinking of jacking it in and going back to college in September so just wondered how all you amazing people cope with your monies if you work/don't work/study etc?

There is a lady on my course who went from fulltime managerial position, to part time, just one of the team members, so she could return to study.

Personally i went from unemployed doing nothing to unemployed part time student.

  • I'm a teacher and head of year at a secondary school, it's hard work but I do enjoy it (most of the time).

Pretty much lived in overdraft since being a student, it just seems to become the norm.

I'm a self-employed management / IT Consultant, with a small company doing document scanning and other related stuff. I did try to juggle this, a house renovation, a masters degree, and a seperation / custody battle. But i had to prioritise: masters on hold, company on hold, consulting earns the money, spending it on house & solicitors. I wanna be a full time dad to my daughter.
