Morning all. Happy Easter xx
I'm still battling the clock change. Muttley muttering. However I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, completed the nyt puzzles (or not in the case of Connections), supped a brew, showered, dressed, brought down the laundry hamper, sorted washing into loads and set first load swishing.
Yep. Doing Saturdailies on a Sunday again. And Easter Sunday too. 🐣 But DS 'popped' yesterday morning so I abandoned my routine. Then I went to see Pops, who has picked up through the week, but is still not right. And I have a telephone appointment with the Consultant re biopsy results, on 15th April...so I'm guessing it's nothing sinister. And breathe.
I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling when it stops raining. Tipping down at the moment.
Time for a second brew methinks and something to eat 😋
Get well soon to all the poorlies. Hugs to all

Craftyscholar, it is the wisdom of our very own HoneyBear who has it as her signature. Once you get going, it motivates you to do more, I think is the general idea. For a sloth like me, getting going is often the hard part…

Tell me about it. My specialist subject could be procrastination.

I haven't done a lot of flying this week, but somehow I don't feel quite so much like I'm drowning in dust and clutter. I've been trying to put things away versus putting things down, and that's helped a lot.
I am a huge procrastinator too, so never seem to start things. At the moment I need to sew up a gap in a pillow (opened to add more stuffing) - will probably take 5 mins top, so will do it tomorrow (its only been about a month) !
@Craftyscholar I'm the same re. the amount of products, especially annoying when I only use a slightly damp microfibre cloth for most things. (I'm a huge sucker for the ads. which make cleaning look effortless).
DW loaded and unloaded
WM 2 x and hung up to dry
Tidied the garage and did a couple of jobs in the garden (including putting 4 new silicon discs under the glass top table - definitely looks better than the 2 yellowing ones that remained of the old ones).
Found the bathroom paint sample I ordered (still to test it in the bathroom though).
Looked at paint supplies and think I'll need a quite a bit more for the ceilings - need to purchase another 5l tin)
Boxed up a return to send back to JL.
A few other bits around the house, so feel organised and ready for my day in the garden tomorrow. Oooh I love long weekends :)

Hi all
Where did the last 3 days go? I am shattered but pleased to report that my office is all sorted and after all the decluttering I have space on my shelves. There is a bit more tidying and organising to do elsewhere.
I have also done 4 loads of washing and got it mostly dried outside. I do need to do a bit of general flying but there is time tomorrow.
I resisted the temptation to fuss over DS1, he is coming for tea tomorrow night with GF. I have to tread the right balance between supporting him and giving him space to work things out for himself. If I don't he will push me away. Doesn't stop me worrying though.

been a busy day…we had a meal booked in a private room in a very nice gastro pub - the chef patron tranied under Marcus Wareing and he's been on Saturday Kitchen - for 24 of us including 8 children and it was delicious; to celebrate SD's upcoming 80th.
No washing line dried - we've had hail and rain.
Got a different handbag out - found £25 and a lipstick in it!
Passed 3 books onto niece *fling*
