thank you Eltee2. Well done on the wills - it's good to have them done. We finally did our PoA's and wills last year. My elderly relative who recently died had a will, PoA's and a funeral plan- bless them for their foresight as all of these have been so helpful to the family.
1st of the month is now my admin/routine tasks day.
Cat's flea tablet administered in their lickety lick gunk. All lapped up with enthusiasm.
Meter readings for home and dad's submitted
Freezer inventory complete plus a check on our "just in case" food stores. We have extra teabags, ground coffee, cereals, porridge, spaghetti and rice. The tins cupboard is well stocked too.
S&S bathroom including cleaning the floor. Shiny taps always make the room look so much better.
Still trying to do some flying each day even though I'm not feeling enthused or energised. I think that's an advantage of flying as it stops the place descending into messy chaos.

Another one who has done our wills - we used a free service through my work. We kept it really basic - I got the impression that anything slightly complex would incur a charge. But really pleased they are all done now at last.
How did you administer the tablets in the licky gunk please @Blackcats? I've tried cheese etc but mines now too wise to it. I keep wondering whether grinding it into the favoured licky gunk would work? Might be worth a try.
Yesterday I put my new window vac through its paces. Started with the windows (inside only) - was a bit longer than I expect will normally take as hadn't done them for a while and I had some gunk to clean from the bottom of the glass/seal this time. I then did all the mirrors, plus all the kitchen units and the dishwasher too! The sun then came out and I realised that we hadn't done the outside since our window cleaner gave up after Xmas! Queue calling the window cleaner that my friend recommended and booking in. While I'm working full-time I'm just not going to manage the outsides as well. But I was spurred on and washed down all the worktops, moved on to swish the cloakroom, and then I hoovered downstairs and spray mopped the kitchen/hall/cloakroom. I've got to say I was sceptical about the window vac but it was a good buy and I managed far more than I'd normally do.
Today I've done a few shopping chores, and spent a while in the garden. Got a few good bits done.

sandy shores - I crushed the tablet very small and mixed it in the gunk without any other food to distract. The cat loves the gunk so much that he is oblivious to the subterfuge with the pill. Mind you my cat is gorgeous but not blessed with much intelligence 😽

my cat eats tablets whole - mind you I don't think she's very bright and she does take dreamies from my fingers - and I just might hand her a few dreamies then a tablet!

First time in this week so thank you Valli and Natty. Hugs to Narco and anyone else needing one.
I have no idea where the week is going but what I can remember is
Sunday trip to dads with DH followed by some food shopping and a roast duck dinner. Finished DD’s birthday box.
Monday up early, woke DD so she could have pressies before I left for grandkiddy day. We made soft toys, a chick and a lamb that I had bough the week before. Essentially you just had to finish stuffing them which they enjoyed. We also made chocolate chip and mini egg cookies. Flying over theirs consisted of DW emptying and the WUDUPA of all the stuff we used when baking. Then I flew into Mr M for a birthday cake, legged it home where I had 10 mins to freshen up before we had to walk into town for DD’s choice for birthday tea at a certain Portuguese chicken place where we met DS, DDIL and the grand kiddies again.
Tuesday dad got the bus to ours and we then drove him to Spalding to pick up his new to him car. I then spent 2 hours upstairs sorting and finally putting the Christmas decks away that had been cluttering my bedroom. That was followed by an hour and a half folding and putting away all the washing that sat in baskets for at least a couple of weeks.
Today I woke to the dog upchucking on the bed, luckily I have a throw on the top so I didn’t need to strip the whole bed. Put that on the line to dry and then did 2 more loads that went in the dryer. One was still running when I came up, the other is waiting to be put away. Also went to the bank and sorted out my cash pots for the month. Bought Easter eggs for the big kids and grand kiddies so they’re ready for the weekend. This evening was all about opening new bank accounts and moving money round to get the best interest rates. I’ve had to write all the accounts out with their names and numbers so I don’t get in a muddle at the end of April.
Tomorrow there are no plans at yet so hopefully some proper flying will be done.

Running in to catch up.
Hugs to all that want and need them
I have been doing odd bits of flying but I don't seem to have enough time.
I've cleaned round the kitchen including all the cupboards and hob. I reorganised my veggies after finding out that I'm not supposed to store onions and potatoes together.
Rearranged the airer, done another wash and put the DW on (3x so far this week, lots of proper cooking)
I admit the living room hasn't been touched yet but I've done my bed, cleared the floor, done the cats bedding and emptied all the bins. I did forget to put the bin out on the front path this week so it didn't get emptied.
I've cleaned the bathroom and done the litter tray. I sorted and decluttered make up, toiletries etc a little while ago so I know that's all OK.
I've done a meal plan and shopping list but not booked delivery yet.
I'm still waiting for DD2 to come and help me go through all the charity stuff but with it being Easter holidays coming up she's been busy at work and taking on any extra hours she can get.
I had to take the cat back to the vets as his eyes are yucky again. I'm lucky my friend has been able to take me and will again next week when we have to go back.
So obviously the cat doesn't like me at the moment. Drops twice a day and flea treated this morning plus the vet said he's not to go out so he's not happy about using the litter tray. He's sulking in the spare bedroom.
I had my MH group yesterday which was tiring with a couple of over powering members. I did manage to finish my cross-stitch project while I was there and went to Mr AL afterwards although I have to go back today as I forgot salad (it was very busy in there) I'm slowly going to my friend's today for coffee.
Sorry about the long post. I'll try and make time to post smaller and more frequent from now on

Morning all
First WM load finished & pegged out, 2nd on delay so that it ends just as I get in from my volunteer gardening morning. I'm really looking forward to volly today as I missed last week due to feeling bleurg.
Later I will be doing the bathroom and at least another couple of WM loads (towels)
Hoping to fit in HHG at home - now the trees are sorted out we can see exactly what needs doing and how much cack we need to sort out (anyone need a bicycle which has lived [been buried] under a tree for several years?)
Then, I'll have tea and fall asleep watching telly 👍

Valli: 'I didn't come up the Irwell on a Ryvita.' That made me laugh out loud!
Fayolle I hope the news from Malaysia about DD's health concerns is good.
Not a lot of flying going on here; Belovéd is keeping on top of the vacuuming and I'm working on my RoD, organising the paperwork, flinging some and dealing with things that should have been dealt with weeks ago. Some very minor progress is happening, but as Paul Daniels would have said, 'Not a lot.'

we've had a 3 year old whirlwind rampage through the house this afternoon 🙀
A cake made together (which DGD declared was magnificent) - the kitchen has just about recovered
Hoovered up the debris that had spread into most of the house
Cooked dinner and collapsed onto sofa but only after picking up all the cushions that we'd used to make a cosy den 😉
Magical time spent with a grandchild and then I handed her back!
