I thought you were a chap, but Vita is a bit of a feminine name. ;)

Dolce vita is Italian for 'sweet life'. AFAIK, it implies all the things that make life worth living for Italians: good food, nice weather, good wine, waving arms around, electing a new govt every other week, 1-0 in the football etc.

There was also a film with that name featuring the incomparable Anita Ekberg:

I'd rather small houses in built up areas over the countryside scattered with mini-me mansions. If you prefer Spain then go and live there. We all pretty much live in dry, clean and healthy conditions.
    Happy chappy
