Dolce vita is Italian for 'sweet life'. AFAIK, it implies all the things that make life worth living for Italians: good food, nice weather, good wine, waving arms around, electing a new govt every other week, 1-0 in the football etc.
There was also a film with that name featuring the incomparable Anita Ekberg:0 -
