hi have received this today
Is this a good sign?
As the court is suggesting the claimant will contact me directly this does not mean mediation? Or this is mediation ?

Oh so this is to do with the n180 form?
there wasn’t anything attached to the legal letter .I had letters before saying they would contact me by phone to reach settlement and then this . No dq forms or anything else so this doesn’t follow either the 8 steps because I have t been sent a dq

Any phrase from the silly letter… you'll see why we really didn't want to see it again!

ok I have received their dq form but nothing from courts with a dq form for me to fill in. So I have sent one in to court and DCB legal explaining that I have not received a dq form was looking for a letter or phone call as DCB had said they would phone me and NOT an email and as a vulnerable individual who usually has support worker to assist in dealing with correspondence and looking out for me , I would not have been aware that an email would be coming . I feel exasperated and annoyed by the whole thing
I suppose after all this effort I have probably lost my case now

You haven't lost your case.
You should be following the 8 steps in the Template defence thread because this is all expected.
You were meant to ignore DCB Legal's email.
The court hasn't posted you a DQ form yet. This is all normal stuff and you had no reason to respond yet. The 8 steps tell you about this early DQ and email from the solicitor.
Your MCOL history shows you when the DQ gets posted out to the Defendant, which isn't quite yet.
Hopefully you didn't send it as a scan or photo images of the pages? It can't be emailed like that. And did you fill in the DQ questions exactly as coached in the 8 steps?
