    @Phones4Chris

It's given me food for thought, that if registering with Now that is the catalyst for the RWG sim to be time-limited and given an end date.
I'm going to hold off and see how long the monthly free allowances last.

I sent a few formally worded emails, but never got any reply. And for the sake of £30 or £40, I didn't pursue it.

However, I take comfort from the fact that I've had one of their free sims in my second phone for over four years, so I've probably broken even.

The reviews of RWG on trust pilot.

49% that's around 350 people gave them one star.

What @Bob_Uppendown should/should've done was claimed the money back via his bank.

I would be interested to know if you can log into your RWG account and if so does it give any information about your free bundle.

    ie: expiry date, balance etc.

I've tried various browsers on phone, tablet and laptop but can't login to RWG.

@2010 As I said earlier most of those reviews are from people who haven't understood what the "technical" causes of their problems were, a lot mostly failing to make a chargeable use in 90 days and/or the EE switch of of 3G and not having an adequate 2G signal.
Frankly, people who chose a very cheap MVNO and then expect their customer service to be 100% all the time must live in cloud cuckoo land. And RWG isn't the only MNVO that has had CS problems from time to time, there are some even now that are bad, even the MNOs can be abysmal at times and I can speak from experience!

@HillStreetBlues I've not registered with Now, but was still able to discover that the £5/£15 on-off cost Teaser SIMs have been limited to 5 years from date of purchase, I've been getting my monthly allowance every month without issue. Whilst it's a shame they've decided to limit the "freebie", I've had good usage from it.

As soon as people mention Trust Pilot as their source for information I just stop reading.

    697 people posted about RWG.

They must all be wrong or made up, even the good ones!

I have got the impression from many of your posts that your technical knowledge is very limited and therefore you haven't fully taken in what I've been saying. People who have no understanding of the cause of their problem tend to post things in a way that don't actually represent things in a correct manner and so can be misinterpreted by many and blame incorrectly apportioned.
Let's be clear, I'm not defending any bad CS from any MNVO/MNO but there's loads of cases where people have failed to comply with Ts&Cs and then expect their issue to be fixed, sometimes it is as a gesture of goodwill by the operator. Many do not correctly follow up their issue with a supplier. Just look at all the "issues" with energy suppliers as another example!
It is far too easy when people have problems to immediately blame a supplier. As I've also already said, if you go with a "cheap" supplier (of any sort) you can't really expect CS to be 100% all the time even if you hope it might be, suppliers like that are rare. Considering what I've paid for RWG's services, and how long I've had it, I can't really complain and it's been a "good" deal.

Apart from the remarks about the nature of many posts on trustpilot, it can't be relied upon as completely trustworthy, people should look further that just what they see there - I've had direct experience of the unreliable nature of things there - they deleted one of my (positive) reviews about a supplier claiming it to be fake even though I provided the evidence they require. Also when I pointed out a fake review (with evidence) they left it in place. I did try an pursue the matter, but due to the "scripted" way their staff operate with just looking at the pre-programmed tick boxes on their computers, it just ended up going round in circles and at the time I couldn't be bothered to pursue it to CEO level - that is still on the "roundtuit" list when I have nothing better to do !
