RWG haven't replied to my recent email (yet) either. I rang 669 today to check various things and spoke to a NOW CS agent.
- Contrary to some rumours, RWG still have their own support team, they are still operating separately ( as a "sister" company).
- I did order a 2nd RWG SIM a few weeks ago with £1 credit which arrived just over a week after and works ok.
- The teaser (for life?) bundles as per their Ts&Cs are changing to have an expiry 5 years after purchase (mine in Aug.27, 2nd time I've had the same info).
- As far as my email goes, the agent is going to leave a note for RWG to look at it and reply.

I don't think RWG exists anymore.
All your info and account details are on Now mobile

@2010 Clearly you don't seem to read, see 1. below -
Unless you have some positive proof that they don't exist, in which case please post definitive details and links and proof of what you say, otherwise this seems like nothing but speculative fake news.

RWG.
I can't phone them. When you phone the number they give, you get Now mobile.
I can't log into my RWG account, but I can log into Now mobile.
My details and account are with Now mobile, which I can log into.
Nothing fake about the above, just facts.

The first two recent reviews says it all.

I don't know how long you have been with RWG but I'd suggest that since you have created an account with NowMobile you may have actually transferred your service to them, beware that if so, you'll most likely not get RWG deals! I can log into my RWG account with no problem, I did so and as I mentioned above I ordered a 2nd SIM recently, a couple of weeks ago, it arrived a week later and works fine. I can still log into it now!
They are SISTER companies and the CS number 669 has ALWAYS been a shared CS number as other long time time customers like @alanjones60 & @ScratchyCat can no doubt confirm. Just because they haven't answered an email doesn't mean they don't exist - THAT is fake news that YOU have posted - read my point 1 above again! (I'm going to guess that RWG don't make enough profit to have loads of CS agents, hence some of it's apparent poorer CS performance).
It's fairly obvious to me that the authors of many of those reviews on trustpilot have limited (if any) technical knowledge. As for the AI summaries, you'd be wise not to take such things as giving an accurate clear picture, my experience with AI summaries on other things is they can sometimes be very wrong or misleading.
Many of the "problems" mentioned started occurring when EE switched off it's 3G signals and they arose where you had a weak 2G signal as has been discussed a few times in some RWG threads around here. And some of the other problems are obviously where people have not complied with the Ts&Cs (chargeable usage every 90 days).
RWG/NowMobile have recently activated VoWiFi and VoLTE (which EE have had for its PAYG customers for a while) but you need a 4G/VoLTE capable phone to use it. I had the 2G problem if I was in the wrong part of the house where my 2G signal was weak (and in other rural areas that I frequent) but I have a decent 4G signal and now with VoLTE it all works without an issue. My guess is there are many who are unaware of these things. O2 has been helpful to many of it's customers by campaigning for some time by sending texts to people that don't have 4G/VoLTE capable phones warning them they will likely have problems when O2's 3G is switched off, they are also trying to push people off 2G and to keep it for Emergency use.
I hope the above now gives you a better understanding of some of the technical aspects.2 -
I've been with RWG for many years, and still have one SIM with them.
My issue arose when I ported two numbers out from them, but they continued to take payment for three months afterwards till I cancelled the payment authorisation.
I had naively assumed that they would stop charging me when I ported out, as all other networks would have done. I emailed them, and they said they would refund me, but no refund ever appeared, despite regular emails from me chasing them up.
All subsequent emails I sent were completely ignored, and no phone calls ever answered.

@Bob_Uppendown that's a very unfortunate tale, and I'd hope one that is incredibly rare, however there have been other posts here/elsewhere IIRC where similar things have happened with other MNOs/MVNOs, again it is rare.
Did you raise a formal complaint with them?0
