Ooh, this is always a lovely question isn't it!
I'd clear the debts (an undisclosed amount, but quite large!), pay for a family Holiday to Florida and/or California and then use the rest to pay off some of the mortgage.
But in my dreams I've already done it all several hundred times over!!Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
I would like to be lucky,healthy & happy in 2020! :T0 -
But in the end - Forum rules are Forum rules. I bet Kipper doesn't get this flack later today today when she informs OP that this is being moved to the discussions thread.
It's not in the forum rules.0 -
Hi all
Sorry to jump on the bandwagon but I had to stick my 50k dream on here.
I know exactly what I would do because I think about twice a week when I am checking my lottery numbers
Mines simple..... I would stick the money in the bank and give up work, and with not having to pay for a childminder anymore AND having 50K to pay the bills for a while, I would get to do normal things like take my kids to school, pick them up, have lots of fun with them, and just generally have lots more time with them while they are growing up, which would be fantastic.Aims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once.

Oooh... Straight in a high interest account for a year, hopefully whatever is going to happen to the housing market would have happened then and I can decide to stick or twist in the great housing ladder game

It's a nice thought though....<sigh>
:rolleyes:If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.
