I know it sounds bad to say it, and is *IS* a nice sum of money - but it's not a lot in today's world, is it?

I have several scenarios in mind.

    1. Knock down our garage and rebuild with two bedrooms and a shower room over it.

    2. LOTS and LOTS of cosmetic surgery for me :D

    3. Be sensible and pay off credit cards and any left, pay it off the mortgage.

    4. Buy £50k's worth of premium bonds and sit back and wait (although I've been waiting for 40-odd years with the ones I've got now and have won squat so far lol)

    5. Do a Viv Nicholson and spend spend spend.

More likely to do 1 or 3 though.

Why thankyou, I thought I would start off something light hearted, didn't expect to get told off.
People are far too serious nowadays and all I did was create a bit of a dream to a miserable world.

I am heavily in debt and love to day dream what I could win or do with certain amounts of money, and just thought a bit of fun might cheer us all up.

I do enter comps and haven't won anything, so maybe I will check some of them out posted on here.

    xxxx:D

I agree aswell we want to keep it friendly but what's the point of having the discussion sticky's?
Kipper has stated that she wants all these threads posted in there and has moved loads:)

If we are going to just have threads about general topics then we might aswell get rid of the sticky's and that will make more room on page one for comps?

    Whats a sticky please?

I'd spend 20K on fast women, 20K on slow horses and just fritter the rest away.

I would pay off our debts (around £12k), buy a new car for <£20k, put £10k aside for a deposit on a house & let my fiancee do whatever she wants with the rest*.

    * as long as a new suitcase & 1 single 1 way ticket to somewhere isn't mentioned :D .

I'd give some of the money to close family and donate some to charity. I'd probably use the rest on the house (paying off a large chunk of the mortgage and getting a nice new kitchen). Would also replace the boiler as it's ancient and a bit knackered!
2022 wins include.... £1,000 cheque £150 ASDA gift card £250 Impericon gift voucher £100 cheque £100 of plant bulbs £100 Bower Collective voucher

I'd take the kids and my hubby off round the world - it's my dream anyway and would be great to get there without the hard slog!

Id go and buy the house I have wanted for years in Nova Scotia and give the rest to the MS society to help find a cure.

Without a doubt we would pack up and move to Cornwall, I love it so much there. We go about 4 times a year and I love it so much. Just been for the New Year and it was fabby.

By the way what's that horrid saying in your signature?
It is the lyrics to the opening song from one of my favourite ever computer games... Cannon Fodder.

Many a happy hour was spent on my Amiga 600 back in the day on that game.

For confirmation: No, I'm not a 40 year old woman, I'm a 26 year old bloke!
