If you believe that, then you are deluded. You just need to check the number of posts the members who have replied to you have, to see that they are regular members with no axe to grind, or any reason to support any particular insurer or other financial body.

"they agreed to pay out but changed course". I may be wrong, but the only circumstances I can think of for them to change course, is after they received your medical records and found something that hadn't been declared.

I can confirm that Zurich travel insurance do pay genuine claims. I had a large medical claim after being hospitalised in Tenerife in December for 10 days, due to a pre-existing medical condition I had declared. The claims handling company were quite slow, but the claim was paid in full.

I'm guessing you won't believe that either, which is fine by me, as I know the truth. I wish you well with your medical condition.

That was infiltrated by Zurich employees/PR......apparently.

I've had a couple of policies with Zurich, never had an issue with them, even when claiming.

They have a decent trustpilot rating (3.5) considering most people only review insurers when things go wrong.

What was their reason for declining your claim - was it a pre-existing condition, or a coverage issue?

looks like Zurich Insurance PR or a company they use are quick to pounce. We are not interested in you but real customers and there experiences.

A quick search on public forums shows there is a real problem with Zurich Insurance, maybe we should consider a group complaint to the FCA

"Zurich PR or a company employed by them need not enter this conversation, we only want to hear from real customers."

I'll chime in, as I am neither of the above and am a real customer. As I said in your other thread, Zurich paid out my recent claim in full. I don't expect you to believe that, as it doesn't agree with your agenda.

    Who is 'we'?

Why are you unable to answer the simple question why your claim was declined? Probably, like most, you failed to answer correctly the questions on pre-existing questions or medication

Why aren't you escalating your complaint to FOS instead of moaning here.

A quick search of public forums will find many who think they have a claim when they don't.

Let's turn this on its head, it's possible that you are an employee/PR for a rival travel insurance company and are trying to rubbish Zurich.

I suspect that is just as likely as all the forum members who have commented so far are working for Zurich…

And yet you still won't answer any questions about your supposed claim being denied. You can hardly blame Zurich if you didn't understand what you were buying.

I believe the above comments defending Zurich either come from the Company itself or a PR company it has employed.

Yep, you got me bang to rights. I've been lurking on this forum for seven years (along with all the other Zurich stooges), paid huge amounts to pretend to be interested in all sorts of other stuff (hence the 9k posts) just in case someone comes along and dares to criticise our beloved employer.

    Really?
