Nobody is proposing time travel. 😀
But the £17k was deposited this financial year (25/26), and the full £17k plus interest can be transferred to a new ISA this financial year (or any time really). And whatever, that will not impact the potential to deposit a "new" £20k in that account (or another) next financial year (26/27).

Thanks for all the replies I transferred my 17k from Trading 212 to Coventry Building Society got an email from Trading saying the transfer was complete. The funds are not showing on my Coventry account so i contacted them they said they received the funds but did not receive the history form, contacted Trading they said everything was sent so they are appointing a transfer "specialist" to investigate the problem.
The funds have been "floating" around in the ether until its sorted !
Any one else had a similar problem ?

You can transfer ISAs at any point. There is no restriction on transfers based on tax years or contributions.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.1
