When do you think energy companies will announce the 1st April prices for people on fixes?

Thanks for this,
Hadn't appreciated that assumed 40/42% split from the energy companies.
Once we got the tarrif I put as much as possible on timers so not sure what that split actually looks like. Can probably get a smart meter to figure it out.
As superkoopauk suggested my complaint though is that the night users benefit has been reduced. For a tarrif that has been signed up to on the basis of the night and day difference surely that can't be tweaked with the introduction of this government benefit?
I'll go to ecotricty and request an update and see what they say. Not holding my breath…

OVO have revealed some 1-year fixed tariffs. The plans are quoted at current rates, so according to their avowed intent, the unit rates for electricity will fall by 3.37 p/kWh from 1 April. The standing charges, though, are eye-watering:
[Prices given on that page are all ex VAT.]
While forthcoming changes to network, policy and similar costs are probably pretty well known, it's a brave move to promise to deliver at 25 p/kWh inc. VAT all through next winter given the current state of international affairs.

Got the email for my Cosy Fixed tariff today.
Old tariff Off Peak 13.41p Day 27.35p Peak 41.03p
New tariff Off Peak 9.91p Day 23.85p Peak 37.53p
So that's 3.5p discount at all times. Surprised by this and very happy as 95%+ of our use is off peak. Was expecting less of a discount on the off peak for some reason.
