been to an additional outswim cancer session - these are funded so free to attend but omg the rain - massive surface water! that was 7pm - it has taken me months to go out to get wet at night…and it's further away than the Monday session so proud of self

Also DW and WM and TD loaded.

Taken 2 x large DE coffee jars to lady in eco shop who then gave me my walnuts for free, took DDs inherited ring to be repaired and admired Troll beads and got one for a fiver off and saved another fiver on my earrings which I decided to treat myself to having seen them on a facebook live. Banked cash for vol job and remembered to pick up my reading glasses which was the main reason I was going to town.

Watched film - I Swear. wow. well worth watching.

Morning all, at least it is dry here today, although still very windy.

My list for today

• Attend uni lecture
• Paid stuff (some horsey work, dog walk and a lambing meeting to do today)
• Load DW and switch it on
• Make a Mr T shopping list (going into the store this weekend rather than getting delivered since I need to go past the store for another reason)
• Take our dog for a walk, as she didn't get much yesterday with the weather being so bad.
• Take DD to her tutor session
• Pay some cash into the bank
• Check banking and update dds spreadsheet
• Take DD to the stables so she can see her pony while I feed it
• Tidy away shoes, I seem to have ended up with several of my old outdoor shoes lying around since I've got wet whilst working this week and had to change my shoes.

I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Friday (weekend is just around the corner)

Pegged out washing - towels no less - not half an hour go and they are almost dry!

We have a new fly pet. At 8pm I was well cabinned in at home when my phone rang. Could I pick up the budgie from the hospice please? So. Despite the fact that it was darker than dark, rainier than rainy, and windier than windy, I went. Nightmare journey made worse because I had never been to the hospice before. I found it. Yayy. I collected the budgie. Yayy. Then I got totally lost on my way home. In the dark. And the rain. And the wind. With a budgie on the back seat. 😱. Not yayy. I don't know about the budgie, but I'm traumatised!

So. We now have a little girl budgie. I've never had a girl before. We're going to spend the day decompressing together. She hasn't made a sound yet, but she's eaten which is the main thing. Please welcome Sassy to the gang.

I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, dressed, supped two brews and eaten breakfast. Sassy and I are watching traffic go past the window. I think we're both working out which way is up. I can do spontaneous but blimey it don't half mess with my head.

Normal service will be resumed tomorrow with the Saturdailies.

Am off to mum's on Sunday for a few days, so today & tomorrow will be exercises, air & remake bed, general tidying, S&Sing, a couple of DW/WUDUPA sessions, PUPA, wash enough undies & socks to keep the menfolk decent in my absence, FUPA and pack my case.

I've booked me, mum and her 'companion' (😉) in a lovely little Italian place for Sunday, really looking forward to it 🍕🍷🥗

Welcome to the gang, Sassy 💖. You are going to be so spoilt.

My heart sank when I saw the list. Kitchen. My favourite😳. Having thought of a million reasons not to, I have done the basics, plus ….drum roll…cleaned not one, but TWO venetian blinds. And the window, the cooker hood, random glass door panels. Kitchen, dining room, utility and hallway vacuumed. Feeling rather smug.

Have s/s the kitchen.. Dishwasher and drainer emptied twice.. washing done and on airer (purchased a new one last week, after my nanas gave up the ghost.. loving it as it’s super wide!)

Wrapped a gift, organised mums day gifts in bags ready for the appropriate person/day..

Made choc crispy cake to use up ends of cornflakes & honey nut cornflakes.. doesn’t taste too bad.. (sampled with a cuppa at 11.30) 🤣

Admin currently being done.. though have been sidetracked by phone calls and other nonsense 🫣

Excellent work Fayolle - we were kitchen flying together, I've also done the DR and hallway floors (I do like mopping - good job really) and brought in the towels which are almost bone dry - we've had some half-hearted attempts at showers. I shall pop them on the maiden to finish off shortly.

Welcome to the Roundhouse Sassy - no flapping feathers and husks all over the place (we had budgies - and they were little characters.)

Afternoon all. I dusted and vacuumed the whole house today and cleaned the bathroom/toilet. Jobs I have been looking at for days! One washload done and mostly dry now indoors. Just cleaned the kitchen and living room windows, also jobs I have been looking at for days. Trouble is I notice when the sun is really bright and it's a bad time to clean them and then forget when it's duller. The outsides are bad too but we pay someone to do that so it can wait a couple of weeks.
