Narco - that's very thoughtful. While flowers are lovely (and I do love having flowers around) it's an 'easy' gift.
Up; grey hair decluttered. So that's a start.

Thank you for the coffee Round, much appreciated. Everything crossed for Pops getting on that plane and landing safely back home.
Kitchen has been tidied after last night’s entertaining. Dw running, 2nd load making its way through the wm. Dining room and kitchen floors swept. Left overs have been portioned - one lot will be an easy dinner for tomorrow when I have to go to a village meeting in the evening, the other is in the freezer for another day. Luckily Operation Reduce The Freezer meant that I got the box in with (very little) jiggling about. Windows are open, letting the foggy air in. It’s one of those “if only the sun could penetrate the fog, it could be a lovely day” kind of mornings.

Afternoon all, I decided to have a lazy morning as it's coming into the very busy time of year when I will be busy lambing.
My list for today
Check what food is in the big freezerRevise for uni exam tomorrowSort through lambing supplies and order anything requiredRead over the uni assignment and submitFinish sorting the diary for this monthHHISort bags, clothes and lunches for tomorrowTake DD to the stables so she can see her pony whilst I feed it (she's still struggling with her fracturered wrist)
I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Sunday.

DD has brought plastic boxes from the BF's to pack for her imminent move. I have vacuumed/wiped out the plastic boxes.
DW emptied. WUALTD. Portion of HM squash & pumpin soup scoffed for lunch.
Spreadsheet for SD's 80th birthday lunch (24 of us) redone as the wrong menus were sent initially. 🙄

Freezer stock-taken, sorted and quite a bit moved from the fridge to the freezer, but more needs to go in asap (ood wholemeal flour); samosas taken out and cooked as lunches/snacks for the next few days. Pleased with that.
En suite sink and loo scrubbed.
The air fryer, which always gets a wash after use, is one of those things that no matter how much I try to keep on top of it always manages to get smears that require a bit of serious tackling. *humpf*
Wren thinks my muffins are to die for. Unfortunately as they've got dried fruit in them she probably would. Fortunately as most of it has sunk to the bottom there's a top bit she can have as a special treat. She had such a rotten life for the first five years I can't help but want to spoil her. I almost never allow her anything with sugar in it so today was a special treat. This Thursday she will have been with us for three years.
1.75 litres of long life milk are in the slow cooker becoming yoghurt. I refuse to let this bit of the food stash go out of date again so yoghurt it will be. I'll be eating a fair amount of it for the next couple of weeks, which is fine. I still have one litre to use up by mid-June, and I can do that in cooking.
Better is good enough.Note to self: Motivation follows Action, not the other way around.6 -
