Trying to think of an appropriate and helpful response @Rhyddid2026 but I only have swear words and recommendations of large glasses of wine. Hopefully relative will say very useful things tomorrow.

Vodka was consumed Pip (I am on annual leave after all), and so far relative has not replied to my messages despite reading them.

I guess I can fill out as much as possible of the paperwork and pay in the hope that buys another day or so to get the other details.

Still no reply from the shipping relative but I have instead tackled the writing OAT. In typical fashion, I had put it off since September. Took a weeks annual leave to get it done (amongst other things), procrastinated all week, and then got it done in 2 hours today. 🤪

Will I learn from this? Absolutely not. I still need to submit it electronically, which is a whole new task needing focus, concentration, and patience, but I will walk the dogs first to get some much needed air in my lungs.

Also, I used yesterdays irritation to get a doctors appointment booked, in the hopes they'll start to prescribe some of my HRT and I can stop paying for it 🤞

I also made contact with a solicitor for another relatives problem, checked they could deal with it, initial costs and next steps. Sent that info over, which will probably be ignored too, but at least I can feel like I tried to help.

So tasks for the rest of the day - walk the pooches and feed the horses (I am housesitting for the day), submit the writing, fill out the shipping paperwork and pay them, then have a long soak in the gorgeous very deep bath they have in this house as my reward.

@Rhyddid2026 - I suggest that you tell the relative if they don't send you the documentation you'll instruct the shipping company to ship the stuff to the tip. It's not fair on you if you're doing them a favour and having your life so disrupted.

Replacement cat feeder arrived, coffee delivery has also arrived, and posts are now in round the patio (let's hope the cats aren't paddling in the concrete). Still haven't messaged questions to the heat pump guy or prodded the builders for an estimate and a date to get building control out so we can confirm the things that need to be decided before I can get an actual quote. Nor have I nagged the drain guy for dates for the pump replacement so I can book the electrician. I am fed up with chasing people.

@greenbee I did just say to a friend if I miss that Thursday slot I'll be setting fire to it all 😂 my patience has worn paper thin.

I've had a reply now at least. Not the information I need yet, but it's a start.

I very much feel your fed up with chasing people @greenbee

I know its close family @Rhyddid2026 but at this point I'd be sending an invoice for my time and labour and emotional trauma

Two listings done. Thank you all for contributing to our OATs threads so that it would be too shameful for me to sack off these tasks!
