The snags have started already with the shipping paperwork 🙄 I've eaten a whole family sized pizza.

Also waste removal man, who I've used before, has decided he won't drive up my hill anymore 🙄

Looks like maybe the scrap man won't either as I put stuff outside yesterday and announced it on the village Facebook page 🙄

My eyes are gonna get stuck up there!

In slightly nicer news I had a lie in, had a bacon and egg sarnie with freshly laid eggs, and spent a lovely couple of hours in the garden. I spread some compost and sowed some seeds in the conservatory. I put the compost bin back in it's spot to start filling again. The tortoise got to spend an hour outside. It was the first dry day since Christmas Day.

@PennysIntoPounds both times (and it has only happened this year), they have credited the amount immediately. The export is visible in the app, so I know they're getting the data. My installer was very efficient with the paperwork and when I originally had the panels installed they started crediting me for export less than 24 hours after installation. So if that's who you're going with, I'd suggest getting the meter in and paperwork done asap. Feb export earned me around £25.

Finally got put through to complaints at Karcher. While they had ordered a THIRD replacement, it was on standard delivery not 24 hour. However, they have agreed that they should be on top of keeping an eye on tracking and making sure things are delivered (particularly when the first one has gone AWOL… I did suggest that they might want to reconsider using a courier who has lost two parcels in succession as not only is it not good for customer service, it is also costing them.

Videos done for Sure re. cat feeder. The problem with an intermittent fault is that you're not always ready with a camera when they happen. Or they don't necessarily happen when you have the camera set up… but hopefully these will be enough so they can fix it (bet they can't fix it and will have to send a replacement - why can't these things be made so they are going be repairable).

Had coffee with a neighbour and talked through the heat pump proposal. I have some questions to go back to the installer with. I just need to put everything together into a single message and make sure it's clear.

I have found them consistently dreadful @badmemory!

Thanks for the encouragement @greenbee but unfortunately they have been so bad on so many occasions that I just do not trust them, and it's too complex to switch to another provider atm what with who can provide what with the build.

Bound to be some issues with a job of that magnitude @Rhyddid2026 but you have done the most awful parts and will smash smoothing out any creases 🥂

Although I have a few tasks I would like to do Paint house change carpets Fix outside light and bathroom fan Get gutters cleaned Clear paperwork under bed I wont be able to start until July and having just completed a horrible year of elderly relatives passing away and all that entails I will give my self from Mar til July off in readiness. However I will enjoy reading along especially with tortoise talk as I have 2 and they have been out for 4 hours (but one was left out by mistake overnight so might be hardier than normal).

That squirrel looks like it's been put in the wash and the colour has run 🤣

Bought an air fryer. Well technically I bought an air fryer, cancelled the order and then went to land of the lake to buy one. It's very civilised shopping in actual buildings.

How lucky you were to get such a long sighting @wednesday2000. A beautiful sight but very vulnerable I would imagine.

The scrap has gone from outside my house, so I'm assuming a scrappy turned up while I was out. That BBQ has been in my front garden with a broken wheel for about 4 years. The postie used to leave parcels in it if I was out. It was an awesome BBQ but I was never going to fix it. My sister borrowed it and returned it broken. I would like to replace it if I ever get my house and garden sorted enough to invite people over. Anyway, that's a chunky OAT done.

I went to acupuncture and picked up some surprisingly cheap veg (yellow sticker) in the posh supermarket next door.

When I got home the postie had delivered a month's supply of dog supplements. Unfortunately the old dog has been in a mischievous mood this week, and she cut her mouth getting into the package and still proceeded to eat the whole lot. I got nowhere with a call to the vet (I was still waiting for a call back from them from Monday), but I discovered I had free access to PawSquad so was able to check with a vet on that. I have to keep an eye on her, but she has eaten much worse in the past. I had quite a bit of dog related cleaning to do after that (crumbs, foil, chewed bits of cardboard, blood, sick) so haven't started the writing OAT. Although I did open the word document last night and save a draft to work on.

Another snag with the shipping. They want my relatives details to go on the forms not mine, including a copy of their passport, by tomorrow, when they expect a payment of almost £800 to confirm collection the following Thursday. I have sent a message requesting the info from the relative.

I am absolutely desperate for a decent break.
