Ooh this looks exciting! So many questions. I have e a list of jobs that have been on a list for a while. Does this thread only last for March? I don't think I can get them all done in that time. Well I know I cant but it would be fun to try whilst I have a group behind me for encouragement. I have updated the list today before I saw this thread and have got DH on side. Tip run planned for Tuesday. We have been renovating our home. as money permits. over the last 12 years. It's only small but we are not really good at DIY and we haven't always had the money to do what we want. Anyway we are nearly there apart from the gardens and some repairs.

To those who have nicely responded. I would love to get a cat but I've got an OH who is resistant. We had cats for more than 30 years and the last one died a couple of years back and he's said we should not get one for a while. I understand why (more freedom etc) but will be continuing my slow campaign in this direction. It may take a couple more years.

Ready to go. My list is sooo long but I have cleaned and sorted 5 kitchen cupboards, and cleaned doors and inside integral washing machine and dishwasher. Only have 3 cupboards to go and the oven. I will get someone in to do that as life is too short! Fridge freezer sorted and cleaned out too. I gave the kitchen floor a thorough deep clean on hands and knees with a soft brush only dining area left to do. So kitchen nearly done. This week I would like to :-
1) get the downstairs windows cleaned inside. (Window cleaner has just done outsides)
2) clean out under sink cupboard
3) scrub dining and hall floors
4) reattach dividing plastic on french doors to garden.
5).tip run with cardboard packaging from sofa and gifts from Christmas
6) sort through craft basket.
Itsxan ambitious list but hope to start as I mean to go on

I've been for my very overdue eye test.
I've planted the flowers I bought on Saturday.
I've portioned up the batch of Bolognese and put it in the freezer.
I napped.
Now I need to do one of the biggies this evening! Putting it here to keep myself accountable.

@Rhyddid2026 - just think how lovely it will be if you can get those boxes out of your house! We'll all be celebrating with you when it happens.

I know, right? This has dragged on far too long. I think a few people in my real life will be celebrating too. I've had a complete mental block on them since New Year.
Ok, ok, I'll go get the scales and I'll print out the forms.

happy spring everyone!
@greenbee - only on this thread could we have completed tasks of planting 250 snowdrops and chopping up a venison carcass.
@Brie - when my niece wanted a kitten she used to write out the shopping list for her OH to take to the supermarket and part way through the list would include "box of kitten food". It eventually worked.
Chez blackcats our aim for March is garage and shed tidying and clearing. Selling. donating or dumping - hopefully with minimal things ending up at the dump.
