Oh well done @Cheery_Daff I hate those sort of jobs!
I have finished another bottle of cleaning product, done seven vinted listings and prepared a couple more, and have made a pasta bake for dinner using up a bag of peculiar pasta in the cupboard and using some ginger. Why we have three jars of ginger I do not know

Actually some easy wins got me down to 57%! 🥳
I've been trying to do a 30 mins cleaning podcast each day (from the TOM Rocks app). Not particularly plan, I just put it on then potter about. Aiming for every day in April, and even just on day 3 it's nice because I'm getting to stuff I wouldn't have done otherwise. Today I ran a duster round the ceiling of the kitchen, and ended up doing behind/between the upright radiators too - don't think I've ever done that! Also got on a chair and cleaned the window behind the sink (it's set far back and I can't reach from the floor). Dont think I've ever done that either! 🙈😂
We've got visitors coming in about 90 mins, so I'm going to stick another one on and keep going. It'll be like a show home by the time they get here (and I'll probably be worn out and need to go to bed by 7pm) 😂

I'm having a bit of a sort out in the utility room as I need to move stuff in there from the garage (has to be emptied this weekend ready for builders on Tuesday) AND I'm trying to work out how to rearrange the utility room so it will actually be useful. So billions of cat and dog beds/blankets and towels have been washed (I think maybe these can be rationalised once clean!) while the electricity is cheap. More will be done tomorrow.

Excellent work @greenbee The blankets are definitely a one stage at a time job 😁

I need to wash the cat blankets from my bed as those are the ones that are used most. Otherwise they mostly make bedcovers grubby instead of sleeping in their own beds!

Excellent idea to get the cat blankets all washed!
I set to with the hoover attachment and did round the ceilings of all the downstairs rooms. Got rid of lots of cobwebs!

Funnily enough after speaking about it here the other day, someone bought the stereo for full price after about a year, so pleased to be able to bulk up our build aim pot

I have started painting my landing. I only bought the paint 6 months ago. 2 friends and a family member said they'd come and help as the stairs on a ladder are a bit dangerous. 6 months is long enough to wait.
If anyone has any tips for stair wall painting please let me know. I have an extension rod for a roller but how do you do the cutting in? Special stair ladders? Very high platform shoes?😄

This is why everything in this house is painted white & definitely no smoking. That way it doesn't discolour & no-one notices if a little bit gets missed. I used to live with mushroom walls & a smoker. Needed painting every single year.

I'm doing chalk white over magnolia so there's a slight chance the edges won't be noticeable where I can't reach 🤞🏻 I'll have to do my best and see what I'm left with. Maybe leave the stuff on the landing then quickly do it the next time someone else is in the house to spot me 😄 the electrician is coming on Thursday and he's very tall 😂
In other news I finally used the last Christmas cheap potato ! I think I might have a little break from spuds now.
