I mended 3 things yesterday - 2 had been hanging around for ages and so were OATs and the 3rd I only discovered the night before and it prompted me to do all 3 (total time spent maybe 20 mins max - including getting the sewing box out, locating suitable coloured threads and threading needles…)
I also thoroughly tidied and cleaned my bedroom (included moving everything out from under the bed and sorting it all and going through the chest of drawers) - although I'm going to do the windows today, so will need to re-vacuum in there afterwards (velux windows - inevitably something drops on the floor) Bed has been stripped this morning and is airing ready to be re-made tonight.
Today's OAT is sorting out my car insurance - renewal quote (arrived a few weeks ago) is almost double what I paid last year - I do less than 5k miles and am in my mid 50s with 20+ years of no claims - I must be able to get better!!

Not an OAT, more OAT prep, but wanted to show off that I picked up my electric screwdriver and multitool today, so obviously that means that all the DIY will be completed to perfection this weekend.
I have high hopes, and quite frankly what more do I need?

Just thought I would mention to any kindle fans - they appear to have all the Anne McCaffrey Dragon books at 99p each at the moment. I've read most of them in the past from the library but now own every one I didn't own this morning. Thank goodness for amazon gift card for my birthday!

Sounds like you have everything you need to me @rhyddid2026. Do let us know any knowledge or tips, I am shocking at DIY but think a large amount of the inability is intimidation

I did - and I saved about £100 on my renewal price 🙌. When I phoned my old insurer to cancel they asked why and I said about the renewal price being crazy and they just said ok - usually, in my experience, they offer a lower price (which really gets my goat 😡)
Planted some bulbs out today that had been hanging around - and 2 trays of bedding plants that I bought 3 weeks or so ago and forgot about...🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

Small OAT for me today - finally got round to deleting a load of old emails and stuff on my google drive - taken it down from 82% storage full to 65% and it's stopped shouting at me 😂 I'll do some more at some point, but it feels slightly less urgent now…
