    Don'tblame you @Rhyddid2026 !

A sad and quite bizarre OAT for me today as I finally got round to burying the dead bat from the cellar 😬 i confess there wasn't that much left of it at this point but I'd been planning on burying it in the garden, and when I found the remains of a baby hare this afternoon it seemed like a good a time as any 😕

In more cheerful OAT news, I finished covering the entire veg patch in mulch - and in the process removed all the ancient hay from one of the outbuildings. Counting that as both gardening AND decluttering!

    Rest in peace little critters.

I'm so excited! I just used my new multi tool and electric screwdriver (and a bbq skewer) and unclogged the downpipe that feeds my water butt. I'll put it back together tomorrow or Tuesday, I want the rain to rinse it out first.

Honestly, the joy of finally being able to give my own house time and attention is immense!

    Enjoy reclaiming your home @Rhyddid2026.

Well done on your burials @Cheery_Daff

I have FINALLY started sowing veg seeds, so there's an outside chance I'll have something to harvest (other than onions and garlic) this year.

Well done with the power tools, excellent work @Rhyddid2026

And excellent seed sowing greenbee! I've sown nothing at all yet 😬 Doesnt usually make it out of the greenhouse til June up here and that's a long time to keep things alive 😬 Probably should get on the case over the next couple of weeks though.

None of mine has made it into the greenhouse yet - it's all on the kitchen windowsill (tomatoes are in the heated propagator, the rest are just in gravel trays with propagator lids - mostly to keep the cats out!).

    Ooh, another OAT for me!

Bought a completed tapestry from a charity shop for £2 a while back. Kept meaning to turn it into a cushion, but it had been wonky in the frame and I struggled to get it back square again.

Tonight I was pottering about tidying the craft room, and realised much of the mess was unfinished projects, and the best thing would be to actually finish some of them 😂 Sewed the tapestry to some fabric, stuffed with cushion stuffing from another, overstuffed cushion (bought for this purpose) and sewed the end up.

It's not perfect, it's still quite wonky, but it's bright and colourful 😊 Will live with it for a while and if I don't end up liking it, it'll go back to the charity shop in cushion form.
