Builders not understanding that they need to let me know when they need the electrician/plumber etc as I can't just get them to turn up at no notice. Plus I need to remind them that I need estimates for the stuff we DO know about, even if there are lots of unknowns (need to find out what the wall construction is and size of existing lintels before we can do the rest of the planning).
We did decide today that as they can't get the same windows (builder's merchant special wooden windows no longer made) that rather than spending a fortune on getting someone to make an expensive replica of a cheap window, we'll reuse the window that's coming out of the back wall at the front. It's smaller than originally planned, but there's a big window on the utility room and I tend to keep the blind down the whole time .
They're grumbling about lack of drawings, but I know if I'd had drawings they'd complain about them… it's just what they do. We're only on day one though, and they're not back until Thursday.

That sounds ridiculously frustrating @greenbee and also completely normal for the building experience 😂😭
We are currently unable to get Thames to supply water to our homes we're meant to be moving into soon, as we gave them thousands of pounds and they did eff all and are now blaming the council for not giving them another permit. The council is refusing to give them another permit as Thames did eff all when they had the last one. We are very unhappy, and skint, bunnies.

Made the effort to list a dress on vinted that I was so close to not bothering with as it has various issues, but listed it and was honest about all the faults and its sold for a fiver so I'm glad I pushed through and tried

I hope you can solve your water issues PIP.
I listed the cupboard and the drawer unit from the garage on FBMP today. The cupboard is gone (had to get it off the wall myself) and the drawer unit is probably going tomorrow morning (it needs to be taken apart and come out whether it gets picked up or not.

Thought I would post a little list of the extras that we got done in March despite having COVID, a pulled muscle in my shoulder and visitors for Easter week, just to give me motivation to up my game a bit
DH has organised his shed ( no small task).
fixed the front gate post (He is not a natural DIYer and was on the cusp of getting in a handyman until I encouraged him to try.
Tidied up his desk.
Cleaned the car inside and out ( he usually goes through a car wash)
Cut the grass twice.
I have not managed as much I am afraid. ☹️
I cut back the camelia bush. It was getting much too high and the bins wouldn't fit each side any more.
We both did the tip run with the cuttings.
Also got plumber in to fix cold tap in bathroom.
Hopefully I will do better in April. 🙃

I have a lovely facial today and I'm going to walk through the park there and back. I might go and look for a couple new Spring tops first.
