    Thank you both.

I forgot to add that CAB have closed my case, so I requested a SAR to have all the information that they received whilst dealing with things for me. I completed the form and emailed it to them on 2nd July but am yet to have a reply. I think I’m correct that I should receive it within a calendar month, so I need to get onto them next week. Until I have that I feel a bit stuck, I want to send any that declined the write off to the FOS, and I’m aware that has a time limit too, 6 months I think. As all this started in November last year I am out of that time scale, but I hope that they will make an allowance and start the 6 months from when I receive the information from CAB.

Two days in a row posting on here!

I had a bit of Vinted luck yesterday! I was looking in a cupboard for a gift bag to put a birthday present in, and I saw some unopened boxes of perfume that I’d forgotten about, Ariana Grande ones with body creams. So I put them on Vinted, one for £15, the other for £10. I had some silly offers that I declined and then went to to the family party. I’ve woken up this morning to both being sold for the full price. That was a welcome surprise! I’ll get them packaged today and posted tomorrow. I’ve got £5 in my Vinted amount so hopefully by the weekend, £30 will be in my account.

Today’s jobs include some cleaning, I sorted my letters regarding debt yesterday which was also today’s plan so I feel ahead of myself. If I get the cleaning done this morning, I’m going to reward myself with sitting out the garden reading my kindle.

Good to see you back posting though. I hope you get some downtime today. I also need to get cleaning done before I can relax.

Thank you, hopefully justice will be served but I can’t deny that I am very anxious about what is to come.

@Humdinger1 thank you, that means a lot. I need to find a way of coping with the anxiety as this could go on well into next year. I did contact my GP in the week and was given another prescription for Propanalol which does ease the symptoms. I only take it when necessary as I would rather find other ways of dealing with it than medication which is just going to mask the symptoms.

Do you have someone close to you that you can offload to? Please feel free to get it out on here! It is natural to feel anxious - this sounds quite traumatic.

@Dakota_Rose I do have friends and some family I can talk to. I guess the difficulty I have is that some of them feel I wouldn’t be where I am now if I’d stuck to my guns initially, which I know is true but that doesn’t make it any easier xxx

I don’t think you realise how strong you are. It takes incredible strength to feel the fear of something, deeply, and to do it anyway. I’m sorry not everyone around you is telling you this - they should be! Remember, you’re not doing this because it is easy, you’re doing it because it’s the right thing to do.
