Morning all.
Valli, maybe I should change my username, but it's probably to late to make much of a difference (I had to google nominative determinism). Some bits of the weekend are going to plan, others less so, as is usually the case. I'll update my flying list at the end of the day. I did visit DS1 & family yesterday. He helped me sort the car seat and I helped a bit with Reuben, who is a real joy at the moment. DH's glasses have been ordered and I walked Buzz before making tea so DS2 got to work on time.
So far today I fed the pets, emptied and re-stacked the DW, started the WM with towels and am just sitting with a tea and a bit of breakfast.
I still have a fair few errands left for this afternoon, but DH has requested toasties for tea, so that will free up some time. He's not spotted the list yet, but I'll show it to DS2 when I give him a lift to work in a short while. Hopefully he'll support by joining in.
Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday, although the sun isn't likely to make an appearance in South Yorkshire. We're back to grey sky, rain and cold.

Morning all
DD had a situation with a pothole, out in the sticks, returning from Buxton, in which the MissValliMobile came off worse and she's currently getting a new tyre fitted because, of course, cars no longer come with spare wheels - a perfect storm given the state of the roads. This was around 11pm by the way
MrsNoChaos perhaps mrs C?
WM x 1. Towels; put in TD. Bathroom basin drain prodded with brush and flushed.
Ebay items relisted; new item added to the lists.
Money sent to sis to repay mum's overpaid pension.

Thank you Honey Bear8 -
Sorry to hear about Miss Valli's run in with a pothole; horrible for it to happen to her at 11.00pm. I dread that massive bump when I'm driving. Mouth-healing vibes for Valli and MMM.
Strengthening vibes for Ionafan.
I'm sorry I'm late with the Flylady Vibes for Miss Fayolle, but I was thinking of her.
Sorry about the birds Narco.
I hope Mr Chaos perks up fairly soon, and welcome back.
Healing vibes for Round and Round Pops. I hope the appointment and hospital stay provide answers and are satisfactory in every way.
Whole house vacummed, joint effort between Mr HoneyBear and myself; curried parsnip soup made with fridge bottom leftovers and dog treats started; I'll finish making them tomorrow. I stupidly left home on Thursday for the funeral without any, so I had to buy some - goodness, good treats are expensive!
My photo driving licence has arrived and says not to drive until the dates on it are in force. I rather hope they don't mean I can't drive at all. I had my boobs squashed on Friday so fingers crossed that's all okay. I'm sticking to some of my New Year's Resolutions, in that we are mainly eating out of the fridge, freezer and food stores, but I can't say I manage 5 minutes dusting and vacuuming every single day, but it did make a difference when I did so I'll see if I can motivate myself to go back to it this week. The food stores are going to last quite some time.
See you all on the other side.
Better is good enough.Note to self: Motivation follows Action, not the other way around.7 -
Thank you HB. I reckon I shall be going back to 5 minutes flying per day too. On top of everything else, I've now got what feels like a chest infection. DH has been out all day and I've only done WM/TDx1 and not even thought of dragging the DY$0n out. I will try again tomorrow.
My plans to meet up with DD and DGS2 in Birmingham on Tuesday have been cancelled, as I don't want to pass on any germs to DD (starting her new job this week) or either of the DGSs1+2. I am really sad about that because I don't see any of them often enough.
I hope everyone who is being given hospital care/doctor's/dentists'/other medical appointments is receiving all the attention and/or meds they need to feel better. This winter seems to have dragged on for far too long - we are all developing webbed feet and permanent raincoats.
DH has had a good day out at the Open Day for his model railway club - they had about 180 visitors, plus most of the members were present (it's a three-line whip!). Rosie has been taking care of me at home and hasn't moaned about not having a walk because there were only very short periods during the day when it wasn't raining heavily. She has had salmon skin for a treat this evening.
See you over on the new thread xxx

Sitting on the sofa now and the only thing I'm still going to do is turn the DW on before bed.
I thought about copying my list from yesterday, but it would just depress me as I managed to do very little by way of flying. Since lunch (in no particular order) I took DS2 to work, went shopping to L@dl, dropped flowers off at my friend's (she wasn't in), had a catch-up with another friend (planned for yesterday), emptied bins, had windows open (both days), WMx2 in addition to yesterday's lot, made tea and sorted the litter tray again. Oh, I also locked up the parish hall after a booking which involved emptying the bins/finding bin liners and making sure any dog fluff had been swept up (it was used for a dog show). I folded a few bits of dry laundry, ready for putting away, and put most of the shopping away. And sorted the bread basket.
Thank you for the warm welcome. I will have a paired down list this week to give myself a chance of actually finishing something.
For anyone who is struggling, health-wise or in any other way, I hope you have a restful night and that the coming week is better than the last one.
