Afternoon all,
Happy birthday Natty x
I forgot to post yesterday. It was the day of the bedroom here, followed by another session of admin. I think I am there now, having finally tackled some tricky frogs that had been successfully hidden away. It doesn’t sound much, but it filled the day, along with the usual wm, HHI etc. Today it has been the turn of the ensuite, plus a level one in the kitchen. I have also got to the dregs of the recipe collection that I was sorting before Christmas. A bit more for the recycling. I will need to do another cull as there are way too many recipes, but they are at least now in order and filed. DH has been in the loft bringing down more of his treasures from FiL’s house clearance. Some are only making it as far as the garage but that is a step further towards the door.
I need to finalise tomorrow’s Mr M delivery then decide what to tackle next.6 -

Afternoon all. Dusted, polished and vacuumed right through the house and washed the kitchen floor. Just had a walk after lunch - sunshine!!! Two washloads done, one dry and the other one halfway there. Picking up DGD4 from school in an hour and bringing her back here for tea - it must be Wednesday.
Hope everyone's OK x

HB hope the funeral goes OK. I took my parents to a funeral last week, there were lots of people there who I haven't seen since I was small. I ended up just apologising and asking people to remind me of their names, I sort of recognised faces but didn't know who anyone was, it was all very strange.
Two long days at the paid stuff. Very tired now. I am trying to keep on top of the Flying basics at least.

Happy birthday Natty.
- one load through DW, put away
- aqua aerobics done
- vacuumed lounge as one of the church group had very muddy shoes last night.
- No 'work' as it is a quiet day for reflection, so I joined Mr N and his photography group at a local gardens to admire the snowdrops and hellebores. Not only was that quiet and appreciative of the nature we've been given, it had a special meaning for me as my friend who passed in December used to spend time there. She was a creative writing tutor and on one occasion she asked Mr N, me and her daughter to dress up in a variety of clothes and wander round the garden to provide inspiration for her writing group; I was in turn a gargoyle, a gardener and a corpse in the gazebo; her daughter donned a long white dress and - Ophelia like - played a mad screaming woman running along the riverbank; Mr N was a menacing biker then changed to horse-riding gear brandishing a whip! Great fun, sorry not very fly-oriented (although as a gardener I was raking leaves!).
- Set up payment for cc
- unpacked and tried the new sonic cleaner on my glasses…..shiny!! Left review on £bay
- went to zumba
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
It's tough getting rid of the past but it does free up space for the future.7 -
Happy Belated Birthday Natty
Went to 'work' yesterday and was so shjattered that I went to bed just after 9.
Keeping up with the washing and drying - so grateful for the TD but I suspect this is the longest period it's ever been in (what seems like) continuous use. Saturday's forcast is for sun though - so I want to get the tablecloth on the line then, for stain bleaching. I also need to clean out the bunnies though, as they aren't permanently in their hutches they're not too bad and they don't toilet in their hutches so I don't feel too guilty.
Going to see my frined lately. Her husband has requested marmakade.
Rang the doctors with a query yesterday and am hoping I have almost come to the end of the tablets that impact my mornings and I can soon go back to coffee in bed.
Not much actual flying - hangs head in shame
