Morning All,
Not feeling great today. I have the beginnings of a cold coming thanks to my GS and DD2. Also probably wasn't helped by getting soaked during the week. I have the runny nose, sore throat and deaf earhole but no cough yet.
I was supposed to meet my friend today for lunch and coffee but I've called a rain check. His friend is coming down tonight to spend the week so I'm not sure when I'll see him next.
Wednesday I cleaned the kitchen and did a few odd jobs.
Thursday I went to my SIL's parents house for a catch up and ended up there for most of the day.
Friday I had my mental health craft group. It was hard work as usual with the lady going on and on about her wedding so noone else gets a chance to speak. The people who run it never say anything though.
After the group I went to Mr Al for some fresh bits. Came home and rejigged my meal plan again.
Today I've clean the bathroom plus FLOOR! Hoovered my bedroom and the landing stairs and hall.
I've prepped food and put the SC on, Wiped round the kitchen. Put the DW on and the WM with all the towels and cleaning cloths.
I'm having a coffee then I'm going to tackle the GS's toy corner which seems to have multiple again. DD1 bring more toys "to play with at Nanny's " which basically means she doesn't want them at theirs. Also DD2 sorted out some build @ bears for him to play with at mine. I also need yo tackle my craft "pile" that growing too.

Afternoon all,
Welcome back Mrs Chaos.
Narc0, so sorry to hear about your wild birds succumbing, especially when they give you so much pleasure. We used to have a large colony(?) of finches here and I fed them. Then I stopped as the jackdaws were bullying them and taking all the feed. I don’t see them any more, but it may be that they too have died from disease.
I have had a pleasantly busy morning, mainly due to the sun shining which makes everything ( apart from the dust) seem better. I took DH to the allotment this morning. We came home with some cavolo nero, a few leeks, and some decent parsnips and carrots which is a first for me. Well, I lifted and picked the veg, he stood just holding the bag. But fresh air and a walk is fresh air and a walk. Bathroom cleaned, kitchen given a very quick s&s. This afternoon I am going to do HHI and then some pattern cutting out. Like Wendywitch, my craft pile just keeps growing…8 -
Amazing the effect the sun has on my psyche!
I have pegged out washing, cleaned the rabbit hutches, cleared all the hard floors, swept/vaccumed then then mopped them - that's kitchen, dining room, hallway and bathroom - I have the patio window (dining room) open and lots of other widows opened - the temperature dropped so low that the heating kicked in but I've tweaked the thermostat so it's gone off. I've also dismantled the unused rabbit run.
I'm just waiting for the floors to dry now. The house doesn't feel cold at all.

what joy to see the sun! Bed linen washed and very nearly dried on the line.
DW and WM have been on and unloaded.
I've listed an item on vin ted and another on freecycle and mrBC has started thinking about doing some listings on the bay of E which might mean he will actually do some selling in a week or two. We are making progress on decluttering.10 -
Morning all xx
All Saturdailies were completed around the Winter Olympics yesterday.
Sundailies will be completed in the same way, which means I'm sat in my dressing gown watching the Women's Giant Slalom at the moment.
I've made my bed. It's a start.
Forecast said snow this morning but it's drizzling with rain instead. Do you have snow?

Ooo yes please eltee ☕. Kettle has just boiled.
I'm dressed, done a laundry shuffle, set WM swishing with towels and tea towels, put out the recycling and fed the birds.
Cold, drizzly, grey skies. Toasty indoors though.
