The symbols on the grid - you basically use your finger to follow from symbol to symbol so the first line would make you draw out a letter h etc.

Put a piece of paper over the hexagonal grid in the pack and trace between the symbols using a pencil, the lines will look like letters

That's what I was doing at the start until I realised I was probably overthinking it! Once I got the email address I sent it a blank mail and got an auto-reply with another riddle and a key
the hyperlink took me here;
Then it was a case of putting the coin on the cipher wheel but the 2 riddles gave it away anyway;
"It dropped unseen through weighted air""The answer lies within the round - it landed softly on the ground"
