Did you take the Fibonacci address and put it in a web browser? Just checking

Royal mint did me in with this problem, the first 4 number answer I put in was said to be Incorrect, I tried soooo many different answers to no avail, I accidently tried the 4 numbers again, Hey Presto, OMG! Uurrgghh

The coins with the inscription on the edge also have the same bold letters on packaging!

"the very fact that this information is available on the internet could get the whole competition voided for breaching the terms of the Gambling Act" You seriously think they would pull the plug on it! A sure way to give them a very bad name I'm just as sure!

Could be the composer knew this:
In Alice in Borderland the King of Clubs (Kyuma) hosts the "Osmosis" game, where he can instantly generate infinite points by touching his base,
a feat other players cannot do without being at their specific base
. He also excels at team-based, strategic, and non-lethal tactical combat, prioritizing team cohesion over mere individual survival

The state I'm in I'll even try that, having had the 4 number password refused, then spent hours trying to figure out different answers only to have it later accepted, I'm pretty much scrambled with this lot!

I assume you are saying that one coin has "STANDING ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS" on the side-edge while the other one doesn't?

Hi all,
I just wanted to share something that might help a few people who are working through the puzzle especially if, like me, you didn’t have everything physically in front of you.
My mum lives up in Orkney and had the actual coin and Newton’s cipher, while I’m down on the mainland with only photos. I’m quite a visual/tactile learner (and dyslexic), so I was really struggling to line everything up properly without being able to physically move the pieces around.
Because of that, I ended up building a simple tool in Notepad (just a basic HTML file) that recreates the wheel and coin so you can rotate everything on-screen and test alignments. It doesn’t give you the answer — it just helps you visualise and work things out properly.
Once I finally synced up with my mum and we got the correct alignment and positioning, everything clicked and we managed to complete the puzzle.
I’ve also added a Fibonacci helper into it, which worked for me. again, it won’t give anything away, just helps you process it.
If you want to use it:
- Save the file as a
.html - Double-click it and it’ll open in your browser
- Works fine on a computer (not sure about phone/tablet)
📥 I’ve uploaded the file to my Google Drive download it here: drive.google.com/file/d/118Nqjg-XoX5eKSFALSZin9Tv3I09rKYl/view?usp=sharing (put h t t ps:// before drive)
I’ve tried to make the symbols look as close to the actual coin as possible, though obviously not perfect.
If you’re trying to solve it properly without just looking up answers, this might make things a bit easier without spoiling anything.
Hope it helps someone 👍

I'm genuinely impressed if you did that in Notepad. I'm lost without syntax highlighting these days.
