This might work for Lloyds Monthly Saver (5.25%), but for Club Lloyds Monthly Saver (6.25%) you have to have Lloyds Club current account.

Yes, I did it just now after reading your post. Went into the Lloyds app, looked their savings options. They said they were only showing me the options available to me and there it was - Lloyds Monthly Saver. Opened within a minute. I've got Bank of Scotland current account, Lloyds and Bank of Scotland credit cards and I now have monthly savers with all three - Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland.

many thanks for posting this - I have a Halifax RS (without a current account - seen no need for it yet), a Lloyds current account and their two RS - but no accounts directly with Bank of Scotland.
I just registered for Bank of Scotland online, using the Lloyds current account details - it works fine and was able to open and fund a Bank of Scotland monthly saver without the need for their current account. 😀

Santander Regular eSaver Account (Issue 20) at 5% NLA. Replaced by issue 21 at the same rate.

Why do they bother? Unless there's a change to the T&Cs or the rate, why do they change the issue number?

I notice Loughborough BS Super Saver has been NLA since 2 March, according to their new 'closed issue' rates list. Don't think I've seen it mentioned in this thread? Not sure which was still available, the 1or 2 year - one had gone NLA earlier, now both have
Apologies if already posted somewhere

No idea. Strange. Perhaps they are planning to drop the rate on the old version?

It has a fixed rate.

I think every issue has its own budget, a final 'goal' to reach and belongs to a specific part of the annual balance. Once the results are met it 's closed and registered in the wider balance of the building society or bank. Any plans to drop the rate has nothing to do with the numbers of subscriptions that form the initial forecast of the total 'cost' of interests that will have to be paid in the end

Loughborough
