Tembo app, then regular Saver - easy to set up - new customer - I required no passport photo or selfie. I used the bank connection to my current account to do the deposit and then the direct debit. How do you set up an end date to the DD`s after 11 payments? I intend to bin it after 12 months unless there is something worthwhile to keep it. Strange that no new security needed (email and mobile needed verifying) other than your device`s 4 digit pin. You can set up biometrics to log in.

Which devices 4 digit PIN?

Interesting to know, I can only conclude therefore that they were having issues at the time I tried, or there was a delay when I enabled open banking (despite the on screen message saying that the new limit was effective immediately.)
No problems with my NatWest DD as far as I can tell, but will see if they take the money on the 2nd.

The 4 digit pin that I use to open my phone up. They call it "device passcode". Don`t you lock your phone?

Thanks. Yes, I use an eight digit PIN for my phone, so I hadn't thought of a phone PIN.

I suppose Tembo figure that since the account is "locked" to your linked bank account only accessible for both incomming and outgoing transactions via the open banking connection that plus your phone's unlock code is security enough.

Odd, I have the Tembo app (although not using for current offer) and its security is much like any other banking app (passcode/biometrics).

I'm on android and the Tembo password is the same as phone unlock. I have put Tembo app in a locked folder with another password, but I do that with all my banking (and some other apps) for hopefully, a bit of extra security.

Did you set the Tembo app to use the same passcode (or is it really using a password) as your phone?
Or is the app somehow using the phone's Lock Screen security for app access?
