@Bridlington1 - Bucks Regular Saver Online (Issue 2) - 6.40%; open with £10-£250: £0 min; £250pm max; £3,000 max; Interest at anniversary… at first glance, it looks to be the same as Issue 1 to me.
worth noting that you can only have one of these RS Online accounts - so if you already have Issue 1 (as I do), you cannot open this second issue… though I assume if you wanted to refresh, you could close Issue 1 and open Issue 2?
Only 1 Bucks Regular Saver Online account per person is allowed.

Principality BS.
My last Principality 6m RS has matured and the total sum has been paid into my linked account, as requested. The account has now disappeared when I log in. As usual. There seems to be no way to access closed accounts.
Unfortunately I tried to cancel my SO yesterday but the bank informed me it hadn’t worked. I ought to have rung up and sorted it but didn’t. This morning when I logged on it had already been sent, but it isn’t showing up anywhere on any of my Principality accounts. I have an ISA, EA and a Christmas RS maturing next month.
What might happen next? Should I chase this up or will it get refunded to my linked account tomorrow?

It should get returned to linked account.

Scottish BS RS 6.5% variable maturity
This account hit our discussions on 1st October last year, applications by branch, post or e-mail to branch. My account opened 3rd October by post with cheque. I have a passbook, and no online access.
The Ts&Cs saved at the wayback machine say "At the end of the 12 months, on the anniversary of the account opening, the account will automatically transfer into an Instant Access Saver (or an equivalent if this account is no longer available), and the relevant account terms and conditions and interest rate will apply. We will write to you closer to the time to let you know that your Regular Saver is ending soon and we will let you know what options are available to you."
The current general terms of Scottish BS for non-online accounts say that "Your passbook/passcard must be given to us before any withdrawal from the account is made".
It seems to be an industry standard that maturity instructions are issued 14 days before the maturity date, so the first letters should be about to be posted. In doing my research I found that posters who did not receive or respond to maturity instructions from another BS at about 1st October last year discovered they lost time and interest in getting their money out.
Do I assume that at the end of this week I will get a letter from Scottish BS asking for my passbook, and they will issue cheque or payment to nominated account?

Progressive 2FA. If you speak to them, they will arrange for the 2FA code to come by email in future.

Progressive, request for ID. You're right, they told me it's a once a year thing, I think it's calendar rather than financial though.
I brought up the constant password changes too and was informed that they managed to get that changed to once every 6 months instead of once every 3 months.

Similar here. Opened 4.6%A ISA recently, which I recall went smoothly, without ID etc required. Today RS application was very smooth, with account number being shown at the end of the process, before completion and display in list of accounts.
As a new customer a couple of years ago, as I didn't have the typical ID, Progressive were very helpful. Whenever I've had any issues, a phone call to them has always resolved the issue or started the resolution process.

Tipton update:
- I tried to apply for the Tipton Save & Grow (app) 6.50% regular saver (as an existing member) during the early hours of Tuesday, 8th September
- The app crashed on my mobile phone multiple times and the application didn't go through
- I messaged the Tipton about the issue via their online contact page
- Later that day, I posted a completed application and cheque for the postal edition of the regular saver
- On Saturday (12th Sep), the Save & Grow (postal edition) of the regular saver appeared on my mobile app
- Today (14th Sep), I received an e-mail reply to my earlier message.
- The Tipton apologised for the delay in responding to me and they confirmed that they would be manually opening the app edition of the regular saver for me this afternoon.
- The app edition is now visible on my mobile app
- I now have both the app and postal edition of the Save & Grow regular savers! 😊
