Manchester RS Iss 2
Thanks @Kim_13 … I missed that you can have Iss 2 alongside Iss 1 when it was announced earlier in the month, but your mention got me to look again. Nice reminder, unless someone tried it and reported that you can't?
I'm keeping fingers crossed for ESBS Monthly Saver online to be opened up again too!

People have definitely reported having both Issue 1 and Issue 2 (and indeed you would need an Issue 1 or something else already open in order to apply online for Issue 2, due to the different opening criteria.)

Yes I refreshed Manchester 2 in early August so thats sorted now with an August 2027 maturity - just need now to get on with Manchester 1 - I think that is about the only one I can refresh
- dont want to refresh the Halifax/LLoyds/BOS collection now they are all set up …. maybe Mansfield milestone might be refreshed depending on what the cash flow looks like for the 1st of October … unless other good regular savers appear in September….

UK Savings Week starts on the 21 September which may mean some organisations launching new accounts then.

In my experience it has to be monthiversary (in your case 30th). I once tried to fund 1 day earlier by internal transfer and it didn't go through.

Darlington issue 2
Interesting. Mine is maturing tomorrow, I can't remember the details of my closure of issue 1 so I looked up in their t&c. It says there that withdrawals will arrive next working day, I guess what I've read is out of date. Good to know that I will get my money on Tuesday 😃

YBS and Savings Week…
Last year their £50 regular saver didn't have a particularly enticing interest rate. But now we've got Santander, Lloyds etc. offering 8%, YBS might offer something better.
I'm sure it'll prompt a lot of debate on here about whether such a low deposit limit is worth it. I'll try not to get sucked in…
