Been away a couple of weeks so this has probably been discussed but a pleasant surprise to be offered a Lloyds 8% RS when switching from the Halifax App.

Made a withdrawal today at 11.16am from my Monmouthshire Easy Saver to my nominated account via the app.
Checked my nominated account at 4.39pm and it appears that they never actioned my request. The money is still sitting in my Easy Saver earning 1.10%.
My wife withdrew some money at a similar time and she was successful.
I took a photo of my phone with the nominated account details before submitting my request and the name, sort code and account number is correct, no errors. It was the same bank details that I used on Friday.
I've now submitted another withdrawal request.

If it's any consolation exactly the same here, even down to the times, albeit mine went through but my wife's didn't. We must be in a gender reversed parallel universe!!!

Does anyone else's nominated account details show with three leading zeros?
Shown in the withdrawal area, although I didn't proceed.

- I Just managed to close and reopen my Halifax Regular Saver (not BoS) a few days ago. This is what I did using online Banking for those interested to try
- Login into the Halifax account (not Lloyds AC)
- Renew (not switch) the account to everyday saver.
- When asked additional information select’ Interest paid into this account’ ( I bleive it could also to be the current AC)
- The interest will paid to Everyday saver, but still showing RS
- Wait around 24 hours until it becomes everyday saver
- Once it becomes Everyday saver, the interest will be automatically added. And you could Empty the balance of your Everyday saver to your current account (if you want)
- You could now open a new Halifax regular saver and get new interest rate. To open Halifax Regular Saving see below
To open a new Halifax RS (after the procedure above have been completed)
- On the LHM (lLefthand Menu) Click Saving and Investment
- Compare Saving
- Click radio Button ‘Fixed Term and regular savers’
- You Will See Halifax Regular Saving on the Top
The difference between renewing Halifax RS vs BoS Monthly saver is that the step 2 above. Otherwise you will not see the Halifax RS in offer. But yu do not need to close this everyday saver immediately, so no charbot or Customer Services help is needed to open a new Halifax RS.

As of yesterday (24th) now website has caught up with what was discussed and is stating the RS has been withdrawn (and I can’t see it to apply in the App)
Please note that as of 24th August 2026, Regular Saver pots are no longer available to open. If you already have a Regular Saver pot, it will carry on until the end of its term.edit: seems I just got lost in the confusing app layout at the RS is still there, just under “Benefits…

Just in case there’s now anyone else left with an old Halifax RS: as long as you still have a working Halifax login, you can replace it with the 8% in minutes. After renewing to an Everyday saver, you just log out and log in again, and you can then apply for the 8% one. No need to wait for a day. Though if you prefer, you can obviously leave it until next day, and hope your login will still be working then.
