Possibly someone has changed the text without actually switching the links over?

My issue 3 6 month Principality matured today - as usual one of the selectable options for maturity was to open a further 6 month saver, with the Issue 4 being the one stated. I selected it, but got a message a few days later saying they couldn't honour it as i already have an Issue 4 - which in fairness, I do (but thought it worth a shot!) I messaged back pointing out that they had literally offered me that option, AND that my existing issue 4 has only a month left to run, but that message was completely ignored, and they didn't even bother following the rest of my maturity instructions either. Not wildly impressed, and I'll be moving the balance out just a soon as I decide where to put it. I'll be even less impressed if it turns out that there is as of today in fact an Issue 5 that they could have used!

It's often possible with Principality to find the application page for upcoming accounts by changing the product ID number in the URL, even if the account is not live yet. Whether or not they'll allow customers to apply/open an account at this stage is questionable. IIRC people tried this unsuccessfully in the past with other accounts

Fair enough, your choice. If that Issue 5 turns out to have the best rate in the market are you still going to stand on a point of principle, or just put your money where the highest return is?

Principality……smart move is to close Issue 4 (if you only have 1) and reopen……my closure was all completed within 2 hours with proceeds in my Bank. Then bag an Issue 5, hopefully soon.
The ongoing conversations about multiples……no idea!

It might be too late, as Issue 5 could be released any second which would prevent you opening a other Issue 4. It could be risky!
I don't know if Prinky have a habit of releasing a new issue at the beginning of the day, or whether it could happen at any time of day.
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0
