But account closure'd take place the next working day for Newcastle so if wanting to refresh you'd be better off hanging fire till tomorrow in case the link gets killed in the meantime.
It's a risk either way though at this point given we can't tell how long the link'll last, personally if I held issue 1 already I wouldn't be refreshing unless it had a minimal balance and was due to mature soon, otherwise if there was a chance I'd use it before maturity, I wouldn't risk it.

And at only 5.15%, would there be much benefit to refreshing? It's very different to the 5.4% Manchester Issue 1 which has favourable conditions of maturing after 2 years and accepting £500 per month.
