I did the same last month by accident, the view is that there is no restrictions here on it, just a case of if Santander might object to it and close your account if they follow the T&Cs. No one on here had heard of it happening, however I decided to simply withdraw it and then fund it again on the correct date, this was not an issue

When you closed the Monthly Saver, I assume the interest earned was paid?

Zopa App problem's….!!! Had same problem…it's too do with the updated app and an older phone basically…would have to updated my phone to get it to work…could access it through sister's ipad…if that helps…

Thanks, I think I'll take my chances and see what happens and feedback of course. My lloyds RS matures tomorrow so if it closes I'll grab a lloyds RS while I can and fund that one instead.

I have a Halifax RS, and can only fund 2 this coming year without messing up my other savings accounts.

BoS 8% regular saver

Is there a way of renewing an existing BoS regular saver? I’ve got one at the moment with a much lower interest rate (5.5%?) but I would prefer to close it and open up a new one at 8%. Is this possible? I tried the renewal method as discussed here for Halifax accounts but I am unable to select the BoS axcount I want to renew. Any ideas?

Several people have reported that you need to

1. empty your RS
2. ask CS (via chat) to close your RS. They were generally very quick with this
3. once it's closed, wait for the next [business? may be calendar] day
4. apply for the 8% one, which opens immediately

BoS RS

Renewal doesn't work for BoS, you need to close it. I closed mine via chat and the next day I was able to open the 8% version.
