Bank Blocks on New RS paymentsSo it seems NatWest want us to get the okay with their fraud team while sending payments to a RS in our own name. Absurd. If it happens again, I'll just try another bank. I wonder if this new (for me, at least) militant approach is AI led (computer literally says no, regardless of whether it's a sure-fire yes or not!)…

NatWest surely haven't thought this through, it is going to generate so many phone calls

I've never had problems with Natwest in the past, I'll see if Buckinghamshire causes a problem when I send my first payment. Never had problems with Nationwide either. Cooperative on the other hand, held my payments up several times, so I've stopped using them to distribute funds.
What other banks have people had problems with, and which others generally work ok?

I missed the Dudley Saver (Loyalty One Year Regular Saver - 1117) as it says withdrawn on their site now…
Just for the future (I currently hold their Dudley Regular Saver - 1225), how would such a thing work if it says the only way to apply is through branch (which I live too far away from) or via post because it seems as though this only appeared yesterday and is potentially gone tonight? Should I just fill out the savings application form anyway and send it today?

Whilst out of scope of Regular Savers, in response to your question, since LemFi's (Lemonade Finance) Instant Access Savings Account provided by ClearBank with 5% interest on balances up to £250k does NOT have a sort code or account number, the only two ways to transfer money into the account is to link the savings account to the source account through open banking, of which there are privacy concerns, or to transfer the money via a linked LemFi wallet, of which there is a £10k daily transaction limit, meaning the transfer of amounts larger than £10k must be undertaken in £10k daily instalments

I had same issue with RBS and another post refers to the same experience..Perhaps NatWest/RBS have never heard of Bucks BS!

The Dudley loyalty RS account that has disappeared was one that was released last year. The new one appears to have been accidentally announced and even thr rumours have now disappeared.

Bucks RS…
The terms for my Bucks RS state that interest is paid on the anniversary of my first payment in. My first payment in was today. When looking at my account online under additional info it says -
Product Name: BUCKS REGULAR SAVER ONLINE
Date Opened 24/06/2026
Next Interest Due Date 31/12/2026So interest paid on 24/06/27 or 31/12/26?

I funded mine this morning, and checked about an hour ago and it's showing
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
Maybe this is the issue - a single account (BucksBS's clearing account at Barclays) suddenly gets a torrent of FP requests and unlike the larger BSs, utilities, big retailers etc isn't on the happy list.
My fraud department "handler" didn't seem to be familiar with Chalfont Saint Giles' finest.
