The worst for me has been Santander. I don't fund regular savers from there but when they've had decent instant access accounts in the past, I've been stopped multiple times on consecutive days from sending largish sums to my main current account.

Oh gosh! I'm so silly - very clear looking at the date on Loyalty One Year Regular Saver - 1117.
Thank you so much for letting me know:) I had read something then thought it was another Bucks/Teachers and started panicking haha. Thank you:)

The system is showing an incorrect date. I have advised Buck BS who have confirmed that the interest is paid on the anniversary.

when it is available, just download the application form, complete it and send it as an email attachment to enquiries@dudleybuildingsociety.co.uk - should take a day or two to open and then you can fund.
btw - you missed the old Loyalty Saver that went NLA today, but you likely wouldn't have qualified to open it anyway… the new replacement issue 3 looks likely to be launched 1st July or shortly after and you will qualify for that.
when it was listed on Moneyfacts this morning, it was branch/postal - but as i have a completed form from a previous application, i will just edit the product name and apply by email again.

Thanks so much for confirming everything very clearly and for your advice - I just realised I made a mistake on the date thanks to the poster above and to you. I think I may follow your advice on emailing the application form through for this as I have my previously saved version and just need to adjust the page on the product name for the loyalty saver(or whatever name they give this).

Most of mine are funded via Santander and I've very rarely had any issues with new payees. I'm able to force payments through without COP on days a new account may be opened (checking very carefully of course).

We never had any problems when sending £20K on multiple consecutive days to our solicitors when buying a house, however we did actually make an appointment with the bank in advance to explain what was going on. Don't know if that had any bearing on it.

I think your theory could be correct. Lots of transactions going through Bucks' clearing account in a short space of time, but this is similar to many other building societies. Possibly Natwest have an "exempt" list and need to add Bucks to it ASAP.

Hello! In answer to your question "What other banks have people had problems with, and which others generally work ok?" - with regard to Buckinghamshire Building Society AND Teachers, I've used my Club Lloyds and have never had a problem.
Hope this helps
Sending you all a virtual Magnum xx

Thanks for the Magnum!
The benefit of collecting regular savers, and doing current account switches, is that I have several current accounts to choose from. If Natwest are potentially causing problems then I'll give Lloyds a go.
