I have been unable to log in to my new Teachers account which I was told was due to a problem with my password. I wasn't able to reset the password as I didn't know my account number. I have left it for a couple of weeks in the hope that a letter would arrive but gave up hoping and rang them. It took quite a while on the phone to sort it out but I must compliment the customer service agents I spoke to. There was no delay in answering the phone and they were both very pleasant and keen to help. Job done.

my Teachers account is now showing with, as expected, the payment I made on Sunday 7th listed as Monday 8th.

I closed my Virgin RS last Thursday and the interest has been received today and the account closed. Just opened a new RS6, all nice and easy. 😎

Max balances only apply to those accounts with a stated max balance, this does not, therefore deposits up to 4550 are possible

Opened, would sooner have it mature closer to July to fill that gap but figured it was not worth the risk as their consistently available RS has a poor rate. Just checking in to make sure there is nothing to be gained by delaying the funding - they’re in the term starts on day of application group, right?

Furness Summer RS 5.50%

I'm opening and funding today, and will then fund every 1st (or thereabouts) of the month, so should just get in the 13th payment, if allowed.
